Dr. and Mrs. R. J. Oilman are the parents of a son, born at the Lutheran hospital in Fort Dodge, Jan. 7. This is the third son in the Oilman family. J. L. Frederick who was seriously sick with Influenza, is able to be about the house. Otto Anrlerton, who was also confined to his home more than a week with the same malady, is able to be about town, and now Mrs. Anderson is sick, running a high temperature. There was a good sized crowd out to see the game here Saturday night when the Globe Troters and Livermore Merchants met. The score was 36 to 31 In favor of the Globe Trotters. The Livermore team ran in players from Algom, Plover and Manly. Livermore defeated Bode when the Junior high school teams opened the program. Exams For Government Job The United States Civil Service Commission has announced an open competitive examination for the position of student fingerprint classifier In the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Trie entrance salary is $1,440 a year, less a retirement deduction of 3% percent. Applicants must have completed a 4-year high school course, or must be senior students now in attendance in their last year of senior high school.
