Thomas and William Couick Sr. A Cherokee County native, she was the daughter of the late William (Bill) and Ida Elizabeth Spencer Dillingham. She was a member of Oakland Baptist Church in Rock Hill. She is survived by a son, Bill Courick Jr. of Rock Hill, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were conducted today in Laurelwood Cemetery, Rock Hill, at 2 p. m. The family may be contacted at the residence, 113 Neely Court, Rock Hill. Memorials may be made to Oakland Baptist Church or the charity of one's choice. Bass Funeral Home of Rock Hill.

Katherine Ross GREENVILLE Katherine Carpenter Ross, widow of Henry Fulton Ross, M.D., died in Greenville, Monday, April 1 1 1988. A native of Greenville County, she was a member of the Daughters of the American Re-volution, the Greenville Women's Club, The Assembly, and the Junior League. She was a charter member of the Downtown Baptist Church in Greenville. A native of Cherokee County, he was the son of the late Clarence and Moree Swofford Quinn. A member of Rose Hill Baptist Church, he was a retired textile employee.

Surviving with his wife are one son, John Wayne Quinn of Charlotte; three sisters, Luna Phillips of Gaffney, Janet Pal-ton of Gaffney and Carolyn Hor-ton of Charlotte; two granddaughters. Services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. in Rose Hill Baptist Church with burial in the Grassy Pond Church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday night from 7-8 in Shuford-Hatcher Funeral Home. Lloyd Benton TACCOA, GA.

Lloyd Benton, 62, wife of Ruby J. Benton, of 120 Woodlawn, died Tuesday, April 12, 1988 in Stephens County Hospital. A native of Cherokee County, he was the son of the late Calvin and Sallie Blanton Benton. A member of Cherokee Avenue Baptist Church, he was a self employed barber. A native of Cherokee County, she was the daughter of the late Abraham and Florence Harris Price. A member of Cherokee Creek Baptist Church, she was a retired textile employee. Surviving are one daughter, Betty Lovelace of Gaffney; two sons, Melrose Ruppe of Gaffney, Melvin (Bud) Ruppe of Gaffney; six grandchildren and 11 greatgrandchildren. Services were held today at 3 p.m. in Cherokee Creek Baptist Church by the Rev.

Philip Broyles and Dr. Jan Mitchell. Burial in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Wayne and Jerry Ruppe, Gary and Glenn Lovelace, Charles Jones, Barry Barnhill, John Wayne Quinn and Louie Ramsey. Bright, 67, of 702 Railroad died Wednesday, April 13, 1988 in Upstate Carolina Medical Center. The daughter of the late Ed and Rosa Mae Lynch Bright, she was a Baptist and a retired textile employee. Surviving are two daughters, Rita Mae Morris of Gaffney and Yvonne Cobb of Cliffside; one sister, Peggy Lanbert; one grandchild and one great grandchild. Services will be held Friday at 4 p.m. in the Shuford-Hatcher Funeral Chapel.
