Green Cooper Green Speaks To Electronics Grads ating class of United Electronics terday. Industry has the hard job of ranks, supervisory and management personnel, he told the 27 graduate electronic technicians. The opportunity is there and particularly in the electronics field, he said. But the right men are hard to find. Not only in Alabama, Green continued, but throughout the nation there is a continuing gap that needs to be filled with technically trained people.

Birmingham is in a better position than most places, however, due to new trade schools such as United Electronics, he said. "Give an honest days work for an honest day's pay and it will pay off both in your own envelope as well as in the profits of your firm," he said. He complimented the group because most already had been hired before graduation. The technical school, located at 2717 Seventh-av, now has about 500 students enrolled. It was started about two years ago by W.

Connell, a native of Montgomery, died yesterday at a local hospital. He was retired from Continental Gin Co.
