Iowa, Juna 17,1987 CreRco 4-H Club Entertained 10th, Scheppmati Home Hie Cresco Chums 4-H club held Its tegular meeting June 10, with Patricia Matern presiding, at the home of Esther Scheppman. Fifteen members answered roll call by giving some quotations in relation to nature, Three very interesting talks Were given by Esther Scheppman, Lois Barr and Stella Mae Mayer. The talks were respectively on "A Boy with a Rabbit," "Flower Girl In Holland" and "How to Add Color to a Girl's Room with Accessories." A long discussion followed con cerning the plans for a week's vacation at the lakes this summer. A committee of two, Maxlne Robinson and Bulie Orton, was appointed by the president to make arrangement for a cottage for the club. Another committee of two, Esther Scheppman and Anna Mae Harr, was appointed to make plans for a bake sale to be held later In the month. After the discussion the year's program was revised to accommodate the nine new members: Stella Mae Mayer, Jean Clayton, Bernlce Reaper, Phyllis Maxwell, Lorraine Thomas, Anna Mae Harr, Helen and Ruth Leigh and Alice Sparks. The meeting adjourned and delicious refreshments were served.
