of Cleveland were the outstanding choices on the 1952 United Press All National ootball League team announced today A group of 30 sports writers who covered the NL campaign in the various league cities selected four members each from the Cleveland Browns Los Angeles Rams and De troit Lions for the mythical two platoon all star team Price the New York hard hitting ullback who was the second best ball carrier was the choice of 26 writers Weinmeister bulwark of the defensive line was picked by 25 McElhenny the San ran cisco orty spectacular rookie halfback was selected by 22 and Groza the record breaking place kicker by 20 The first team offensive backfield was made up of the veteran Otto Graham of the Browns at quarter back McElhenny and Towler of the Rams who led the league in rushing at halfbacks and Price at full Towler normally a fullback was awarded a halfback berth because his 17 votes were almost equally divided between the two positions In the line the offensive team
