Minor Leagues Claim Lack of Interest by Majors Hurts Cause Note: This is the second of a two part series on the plight of Minor League baseball and what can be done to solve its problems Presidents of Minor Leagues where cities dropped out this season dis cuss the situation) By CARL LUNDQUIST United Press Sports Writer Minor league baseball can make a comeback perhaps even a spec tacular one but something will have to be done first to lure people away from their television and radio sets i i Minor league presidents who 1 had cities fold up on them this a season blame not only the broad 1 slalom for girls J8 and over the tricks events 14 17 year group the tricks 14 17 age group tricks 18 years and older and tricks 18 years and older Exhibitions to be featured dur ing the program will include dou bles with two or more skiers and water ski jumping One trophy will be awarded winner in each class Trophies for all events will be on display at Chambers Lodge and are to be awarded immedi
