(AP) Mickey Cissell kicked the Arkansas Razorhacks into position for a Southwest Conference football championship Saturday with 26-yard field goal 25 seconds before the game's end to beat Rice 34) With less than three minutes to go Arkansas drove 72 yards to the Gators a leading candidate for a return trip to the Gator Bowl Florida romped to glory the first time it got its hands on the ball marching 77 yards in 15 plays Goodman a 186-pound jun ior from Miami charged over from the one for the touchdown to put the Gators ahead with 7:44 left in period It was Goodman again moments later defense stiffled the aerial wizardry of Georgia's Francis Tarkenton for three quarters Saturday while fullback Don Goodman led a gambling Gator offense to a 22-14 win Quarterback Bobby Dodd Jr son of the famed Georgia Tech coach gave Florida its third touchdown an clinched the victory with a two-point conversion run on a fake kick The Georgia Bulldogs virtually helpless in the first three quarters got its vaunted aerial attack working in the final period scoring two touchdowns on runs by quarterback Tarkenton and a 26-yard pass from halfback Billy Jackson to halfback Bobby Walden But it was Florida's day The Gators mixed a hard running ground attack sparked by Goodman with a surprising pass defense which kept Tarkenton the Southeastern Conference's leading passer in handcuffs until late
