Surviving are nine children, George, Avoca; John, Duryea; Mrs. Kathryn Kusmiss, Clifton, N.J.; Mrs. Mary Kuchinski, Dupont; Mrs. Joseph Kopka, Wilkes Barre; Mrs. William Appleyard, Mrs.

Stela Brown, Brooklyn, N.Y.; Mrs. James Golden, Buffalo, N.Y.; Mrs. Delia Tibbett, Pittston; 31 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Funeral was held on Monday from the funeral home at 215 Quality Row, Dupont, with a mass in Sacred Heart Church. Interment was in the parish cemetery.

MRS. OARiMBLLA COCCO, 83, of 70 First street, Dupont, on December 9th, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Theresa Stef anelli, with whom she made her home the last year. Mrs. Cocco formerly resided at 23S Ziegler street, Dupont.

Born in Italy, she came to this country and settled in Dupont; She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Pittston, and its Her husband, Philip, a former Du pom 'Dusinessman, died in 1938. Surviving in addition to Mrs. Stefanelli are children, uominioK, branch chief. In lernai itevenue Service at Scranton; Michael, Albert, Mrs.

Jessie Bellomo, Mrs. Mar garet Strucke, all of Durxrnt: Joseph, Avoca; 20 grandchil dren and 12 great-grandchil dren. Funeral was held on Wednesday from the funeral home at 215 Quality Row, Dupont, with a mass in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Interment was in the parish cemetery.

JOHN F. REARDON. of 1109 Main street. Port Griffith, lormerly of Pittston Township, on December 9th at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Leo Gorman, with whom he resided.

A son of the late John and Ann Madden Reardon, he was born in Pittston Township and lived there until moving with his daughter. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church and its Holy Name Society. Surviving besides Mrs. Gorman are children, Mrs.

Funeral was held on Tuesday from the funeral home at 284 South Main street, with a requiem mass in St, Rocco's Church. Interment was in the parish cemetery. MRS. MARIA RICCETTI, 580 Broad street, Cork Lane section of Pittston Township, on December 7th. Born in Italy, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Assunta Cossa Biochielli, and came to this country in 1911.

For a short time she lived in Illi nois before moving to Cork i Lane 48 years ago. Mrs. Ri-cetti was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Her husband, Enrico, died in 1952 and a son, Albert, February 6, 1961.

Surviving are sons, August, at home; Joseph, Victor, Pittston Township; William, Dupont; Nello, Pittston, a teacher at Pittston High School; daughter, Mrs. Wil-! liam Tironzelli, Pittston Township; 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren brother, Enrico, and sister, Mrs. Ersi-lia, both in Italy. Funeral was held on Monday from the funeral home at 251 William street, with a requiem mass in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.

Interment was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Carverton. GWENT A. THOMAS, of Collingswood, N.J., formerly of West Pittston, on December 6th. Born in West Pittston, he was -a son of the late Mr.

a.id Mrs. William G. Thomas, 400 Luzerne avenue, West Pittston. Mr. Thomas was a graduate of Tri-State College, Angola, and was employed as a designer for New York Shipbuilding Company at Camden.

He was an Army veteran of World War having served oversees with Battery 109th Field Artillery. Surviv- ing are his widow, the former Harriet Johnson of Wilkes- Barre; sisters, Eleanor and Mrs. William Mosher, West Pittston; Mrs. Howell Hastie, Oreland. Funeral was held on Saturday from the Warren E.

Strubeck Funeral Home, 211 Luzerne avenue, West Pittston, with interment in West Pittston Cemetery. MAJUANNA WHITE PAMPE of 320 Franklin street, West Pittston, on December 6th. Born in Scranton she was a daughter of the late Dr. Blythe and Clara Bennedict White. Her father was a well-known dentist in the Pittston area.

NELLIE EVANS, 74, of 808 North Main street, Duryea, on December 9th. Born in Avoca, she was a daughter of the late Alex and Sarah Brown and widow of Thomas Evans, who passed away in April, 1960. She was a member of Brick Methodist Church, Duryea. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. William Aqui-na, Brooklyn, N.Y.; a brother, Alex Brown, Huntington Mills, a sister, Mrs.

Stanley Jones, Duryea. Funeral was held on Wednesday with services in Brick Methodist Church. Rev. Ruth Underwood, officiating. EDWARD SOKOLOWSKI, 1C55 Ash street," Mooslc, on December 7th.

A native of Duryea, he was a son of the late Thomas and Mary Olkow-ski Sokolowski, and had been resident of Moosic for 23 years. He was employed by Mack Motors, Plainfield, N.J. He was a member of SS. Peter and Paul's Church, Avoca, and the Polish National Alliance. Surviving are his wife, Helen; daughter, Mrs.

Frank Madura, Moosic; sons, Edward, at home; SP4 Patrick, with the Army Berlin, Germany; two grandchildren; four sisters, including Mrs. Anna Soneski, Duryea; brothers, Frank and Joseph, Duryea. Funeral was held on Monday from the fu neral home at 728 Main street, Avoca, with a mass in SS. Peter and Paul's Church. In-1 terment was in the parish cemetery.

MRS. MARY, TUMINELLI LINDSAY, of 346 Christian street, Lowell, a former Pittston resident, on- December 6th. She was 37 years old. daughter of Mrs. Pauline Tuminelli of 126 Elizabeth street, Pittston, and the late Joseph Tuminelli, she was born in this city.

She was a graduate of Pittston High School, Class of 1942 and was communicant of St. Mary's Church, in Lowell. Also sur viving are her husband, Wal at home; I sisters, Sarah, Mrs. Joseph Selenski: Pittston; Mrs. Louis Burke, Pittsfield, R.

of 3804 Granada, 'Tampa, Florida, formerly of Avoca, on December 6th. A daughter of late Patrick and Ellen McEor-mott, Mrs. McQueen was a member of Christ the ng Church, Tampa. Her husba Peter, died in 1944. Surviving are a son, Francis; a sister, Catherine, and a grandson, Michael, all of Tampa.

Funeral was held from the funeral home at 728 Main street, Avoca. JOHN SLOBONICK, 51, of 940 Getty avenue, Duryea, was found dead in bed, a victim of coal gas, on December 6th. Dr. Arthur J. Horvat said he died from asphyxiation from coal gas fumes.

Sloboniok, employed in New Jersey, came home to go deer hunting and had planned to return to Jersey that afternoon. He was found by a neighbor, Carl Warner, who fixes the fires at the Slobonick home. MRS. STEFjANIA ROGALLA of 126 Lackawanna avenue, Duryea, on December 10th. A native of Poland, Mrs. Rosalia resided in Duryea since her arrival in this country at an early age. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Church, Duryea, the Altar and Rosary Society and Third Order of St Francis.

A native of Exeter, he was a son of the late William and Anna VeletsJti Guitson. He received his education in the Duryea schools and has resided in that borough the major portion of his life.

Mr. Guitson was a retired employe of the Blocmsburg Silk Mill of Duryea and was also employed for time at Bethlehem Steel Corporation, Bethlehem. He was member of St. Joseph's Church, Duryea. Surviving are his widow, the former Anna Nayavich, Duryea; a son, Jo-soph, at home, supervisor at Kanaar Corporation, Kingston; brothers, George, Duryea and Anthony, Endwell, N.

CLAIlRE LANOFORD, 18, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Langford, Averill Park, N.Y. was burned to death on December 10th when trapped in a second floor of a blazing dormitory at Rogers Hall, a well-known school for girls at Lowell, Mass The -victim's parents are formerly of West Pittston.

Mr. Langford is manager of the Albany office of the Mutual of New York Life Insurance Company and left this area 20 years ago. She is also survived by brothers, Richard, at home; Spencer, N.Y.; also en aunt, Gertrude Langford, West Pittston. MRS. ANNA (FILA) FELA, 79, of 335 Simpson street, Dupont, on December 9th, when she was burned to death by flames of an early morning fire that engulfed her home.
