state The commission will advise the governor on matters regard ing the preservation of state history and historical material It also will work with historical organizations at state county and local levels and recom mend historical projects involv ing the preservation at histori cal material Sawyer said the commission would be made up of Chet Christensen Sparks mayor and vice chariman of the State His torical Society Mrs Mildred Heyer state librarian James Calhoun director of the State Museum Harold Erick son director of the Nevada Southern University Library Robert Armstrong special col lections librarian at the Univer sity of Nevada Grace Dang berg a historian from Douglas County and assistant state ar chivist rederic Gale The commission will meet for the first time next month gel
