attorneys argue that charges brought against him by the district attorney in April were not filed properly and are supported by insufficient evidence Darnell was charged twice in the stereo speakers case first by a grand jury indictment handed up last fall and subsequently by a district criminal complaint filed in April The criminal complaint was filed after certain charges in the indictment Recommendations By java mcr AnnEiv The City of Reno will go against the recommendations of its long time bond consultant Monday and hear proposals for the refunding of $18316000 in outstanding bonds The refunding of the general obligation bonds will save the city between $12 million and $2 million inance Director Milt Weiss said But Nick Smith of Burrows Smith and Co Salt Lake City Utah told the council this week his firm would not recommend the refunding without a complete long range study of the capital improvement needs Smith said the refunding will have an impact on sewer rates and airport landing fees He said he opposed to bond refunding and had recommended to other clients in the past but after a study of their needs He said as part of its contract his company would do a study for Reno at no additional cost Carson Plane Hangars Hang on Panel's Word Journal Carson City Bureau A three member arbitration panel is expected to consider plans by Carson supervisors to construct up to 25 aircraft hangars at the municipal airport next week The city's intention to spend about $1 30000 on the hangars was contested by representatives of Carson Tahoe Aviation the fixed base operator
