13 THE CHANGES HANDS SYNDICATE ACQUIRES THE BROADWAY HOSTLERY LEASES PROPERTY. Plant New Plaza Hotel Filed Parcel Near ''Highlands" of othavc. Sold. A compriatng Douglas Mabee, of Saratoga, and Mirabeau L. Towns and B.

J. Me- of Brooklyn, yesterday bought the Hotel VendoTie. at the southeast corner or" 4.lst -st. and Broadway. It got title to the property from, a referee in bankruptcy.

John Armstrong was the broker. The property is assessed at $975,000. The syndicate has leased the property to Medora S. for fifteen years. The yearly rental for the first five years will be $71,000.

for the second five years and for the third five years The hotel is eleven stories. It has a frontage of 64 ft-at in Broadway and ISO feet in 41st-st. It 250 living rooms. The structure v.ill be extensively remodelled. It will have in the basement, the largest rathskeller in this city, it is said, an all-night banking Institution may occupy space on the ground ficor.

Plans were filed yesterday with Buildings Superintendent Hopper for the new Plaza Hotel to built on the block front on the west side of from 6Sth-et, to for the Plaza Operating Company, of which B. It is to be an eighteen story, fireproof structure, a facade of brick trimmed with limestone and terra cotta, and having a mansard roof It will front 200 10 feeti in the avenue and 125 and 250 feet In sSth-st. and respectively.
