Writer mart in San Angelo will say goodbye to its past today ana welcome its future as one store doses and another prepares to pen Today is the last day for the store on North Bryant and at9am Monday the new mart at Oak Grove Boulevard and Loop 306 will open for the first time Grand opening activities and instore specials actually will begin Thursday but the store will open Monday to give customers a "three-day sneak preview" and give management and employees a chance to make sure everything is running smoothly General Store Manager Mike Snapp said He added that both the North Bryant dosing and the Loop 308 opening are part of a five-year renewal plan to turn the company into a chain of stores similar to the Loop 308 store The plan calls for building some new stores enlarging others and refurbishing the rest The San Angelo store is one of the first new ones and it complies with annew Americans WlftDiuUlities Act requirements Store construction has been the same sinee the 1980s when concrete and asphalt was aU that wu needed to put in a retail location Snapp said But as times have changed stores need more landscaping wider aides and a broader sdecftm of name brand moving northwest Zesch Restaurants with the cooperation of a Llano restaurateur plans to open Old Time Pit Bar-B-Q in San Angelo sometime this August The eatery will be patterned after Cooper's Old
