president of the Downtown Optimist Club the Junior Chamber 'd Commerce Business Men's Bible Class United Fund of Tom Green County Tom Green County Tuber-culoais Association Retail Merchants and Credit Bureau Retail Credit Executives of San Angelo and Retail Credit Executives bf Texas and as former director of the West Texas Chamber of Commerce RUoyd Cope 79 former district manager of West Texas Utilities in Abilene died Wednesday at his residence in Abilene Service will be at 11 am Saturday at the St Paul United Methodist Church In Abilene Graveside service will be at4 pm in Foster Cope Cemetery in Sterling City directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home 542 Hickory He earned a bachelor's degree from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene in 1934 and had been employed for West Texas
