Lovelady Tobrs'East Coast Mrs. H. D. Lovelady recently returned from Chicago, I1L, where she visited her son, Howard Lee, and family. She accompanied them to Washington, D.

for a short vacation. They toured Arlington National Cemetery, the White House, the Capitol, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, and various other landmarks. The senate was in session and they were able to obtain passes to sit in the visitors' gallery where they watched Senators John Tower, Byrd, Kennedy and Humphrey, along with many others, vote on two different bills. They also drove into the Virginia countryside to see Mount Vernon and had lunch at Col-lingwood which was part of George Washington's plantation. While on this trip, Mrs.

Lovelady went through 12 stares and covered 4,500 miles. She remarked that it was one of the most interesting experiences she has ever had. Gilmer Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Thursday) for Mis. Claude Gilmer of Pineville, a former resident of Oatesville. The rites will be held at Scott's Funeral Home chapel with Rev. W.

F. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery. Mis. Gilmer, 7S, died Tuesday morning in Houston after a brief illness.

She was the former Miss Ol-lie Graham, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Will Graham of Oatesville, and was born Aug. 13. 1894.

She married Mr. Gilmer Oct. 12, 1916, and they had made their home in Pineville since 1941. Mr. Gilmer died in 1964.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Ralph Hunn of Concord, and Mrs. Byrne Wilson of Bellaire; one son, Klliott Gilmer of Covina, two brothers, Allen Graham and Gordon Graham, both of Oatesville; one sister, Mrs. Claudine Boyd of Oatesville; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Carl Hinson, Coryell Pioneer, Buried Tuesday Mrs. Carl (EffirO Hinson died at 2:30 a.m. Monday in a local rest home where she had lived the past two years. She was 92 and a member of the Yows fam ily, pioneer settlers of Coryell County. Funeral services were held at p.m.

Tuesday in Scott's Fu neral Home chapel, with Rev. W. E. Smith officiating. Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery- Rom Kffie Yows Feb.

7. 18S1, in Williamson County, she was a daughter of the late Jacob Yows and Elizabeth Chapman Yews. She came to Coryell County as a child with her parents, who settled in the Hay Valley community. After her -marriage Sept. 19.

1943. to Mr. Hinson. they made their home at the Ater community. Following Mr Hinson's death.

Mi's. Hinson moved to Oatesville in 117. Hinson was a member of the First Baptist Church of Oatesville. Survivors include a stepson, Paul Hinson of Oatesville: a stepdaughter, Mrs. Guy May-hew of San Antonio: and a nunilxT of nephews and nieces.
