Body in the church at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the Cornelia Ramsey Cornelia Richardson Ramsey, 79, of 330 Filter Plant Road, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Jan.

11, 2010, at Upstate Carolina Medical Center. Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of James D. "Hot Shot" Ramsey and daughter of the late Frank Richardson and Judy Bell Ruppe Richardson. She was retired from Monsanto and was a member of East Gaffney Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Barbara Davis of Gaffney and Caroline Piasio of Savannah, two sisters, Juanita Broome and Brenda Greene, both of Gaffney; six grandchildren, Marcia Davis, Kent Davis, Jay Davis, Tiffany Eubanks, Jennifer Piasio and Jonathan Piasio; seven great-grandchildren, Isaac Eubanks, Madisyn Davis, Emery Davis, Jordan Davis, Hope Eubanks, Noah Eubanks and Ella Eubanks.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, Jan. 13, from p.m. at East Gaffney Baptist Church. Services will immediately follow at 3 p.m. at the church with the Revs.

Helen Young Helen Doris Wyatt Addis Young, 81, of 115 Henderson went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2010, at her residence. Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of Elbert Addis and the late Jack Young and daughter of the late Grover Wyatt and Lucille Blanton Wyatt.

Mrs. Young retired from the textile industry and was also a retired convenience store clerk. She was a member of High Point Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Nancy A. Powell Broome of the home; a brother, John David Wyatt of Gaffney; two great-grandchil- dren, Savannah Broome and Dakota Huskey; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, J.D. Wyatt and Julian Wyatt, and a sister, Bobbie Jean Henry. Services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 13, at 2 p.m. in Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev.

Jimmy Powell officiating. Interment will be in High Point Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation was held Tuesday, Jan. 12, from 6-8 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home.

Roy Dean Bell Roy Dean Bell, 67, of 147 Deerwood Lane, died Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010, at his home. Beatrice Mickles BLACKSBURG Beatrice Morgan Mickles, 67, of 122 Hughey Lake Road, wife of John W. Mickles passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12,2010, at 3:22 a.m.

at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System. Daughter of the late Eltha Mae Thompson Morgan Dukes and the late Mose Byers, she was born Jan. 21, 1942, in Cherokee County. She was a member of Youngs Grove Baptist Church and retired from Weavetex of Blacksburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three children, Cornelious Morgan, James Jr.

Morgan and Raymond Morgan, and a brother, Shedrick Byars. Mrs. McAbee was born in Gaffney on July 11, 1932, the daughter of the late Price Atkins and Bonnie Peeler Atkins Cabaniss. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Roland McAbee, on Nov. 28, 1991. Mrs.

McAbee was owner and founder of Carrie's Bridal Shop and was then associated with McAbee Cleaners for 18 years. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and was involved in Carpenters for Christ on several mission trips. Survivors include a son, Terry McAbee and his wife, Pam, of Rome; a daughter, Cathy Wor-ley and her husband, Mark, of Rome; two grandchildren, Ben and Kim McAbee, of Rome; two brothers, Orren Atkins and his wife, Brenda, of Gastonia, N.C., and Charlie Parris and his wife, Allison, of Mayo; and a sister, Mary Harmon and her husband, Mickey, of Gaffney. Graveside services will be held Thursday, Jan. 14, at 2 p.m.

Wright was cafeteria manager at Pacolet Elementary School and a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Cowpens. In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by two daughters, Cassidy Nichols and husband, Jody, of Gaffney and Patricia Trent and husband, Jamey, of Greenwood; a brother, Monte Wilkins and wife, Mary, of Cow-pens; eight grandchildren, Paige Nichols, Kennedy Nichols, Rylee Nichols, Jamey Lee Trent, Jacob Trent, Sar-rah Trent, Hannah Trent and Tristan Trent; and a special niece, Carmen Wilkins. Memorial services will be held Thursday, Jan. 14, at 4:30 p.m. in Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs.
