good crowd on hand The fire dive by Mr Wood himself was the most spectacular feature of the performance Gasoline was put on the surface of the pool and the diver up on the tower was decked out in cotton soaked in gasoline All the lights were turned out and both man and pool were set afire Then he dived into the water a streak of flame' falling through the air One of the life-savers was tied hand and foot and thrown into the water Thus handicapped he swam the length of the pool twice his movements being similar to the leaps of a rabbit Bunn Hackney the Carolina football star did a front
