of senior high school children win be honored with a picnic beginning at 7 o'clock Thursday evening at the City Park The affair Is sponsored by the Dad's Chib and the Senior High P-TA unit Members of the high school band wUl play several numbers and will be special guests at the picnic A short business session of the P-TA win be held featuring the Installation of officers Four Counties To Form P-TA Council lira Louis Jones of Christo val P-TA vice president of Tom Green Mon Sterling and Concho Counties has Issued a call of all unit presidents of these counties to meet at 10 a bl Thursday May 16 at the Hotel Cactus The meeting Is for the purpose of organizing the four counties Into a oounclL There was an Inter-county council In operation before the war years All unit presidents president of the San Angelo City Council and any school principal who Is Interested are Invited to attend A luncheon will be served at noon and those planning to attend are urged to send their whom will receive stipends of $1500 will pursue a variety of literary and scientific studies rated as important contributions to their various fields of learning Seven of these fellowships will bring
