May yoa be rewarded for jour enterprise and outlay of capital. House Stolen. About four o'clock, Sunday afternoon last, two scoundrels, Tom Hall and "Frciichy," surrounded a fine dark bay horse belonging to Captain J. P. Hargrave, of this town, drove him Into A.

L. Moeiler's corral, canght and led him down to Fort Whipple, where Hall pro cured a saddle, and mounting the animal, rode ofT, accompanied by "Frcnehy," who hadaborseof hi own. Several person saw tbem trying to catrh the horse In town, but paid no attention to tbem. It Is believed that the daring thieve started west, ria the Mohave route. Hall is a dark complexloncd, sllra-bullt man; height about five feet nine Inches.

He has run ith the "circus," and is a No. 1 acrobatic performer. N. P. Pierce Is on the trail of the thieves, and we hope he will catch up with them.

Placer mining Is not very brisk at present, there being an Insufficient supply of water In the various creek and gulche. Some ten or twelve men aro rocking In the England gulch. About the same number are at work on tho Upper Ha, sayaropo, and, at Walnut Grove, some eight or ten persons are at work on the saniu stream. On Lynx Creek, there are abont twenty men engaged In placer mining. At Big Bug, five or tx.
