ERICKSON John Erickson, 72, of 920 N. Water St. died at 10:43 p.m. Monday in the Americana Nursing Center. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m.

Thursday in Pilgrim Lutheran Church. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Monson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery. Mr.

Erickson was born in Joliet, a son of Christian and Ellen Olsen Erickson. He was a clerk for Star -Peerless Wallpaper Mills. He worked for Decatur Memorial Hospital until bis retirement in 1965. He married Dorothy Burkart Nov. 24, 1939 in Decatur.

She died Oct. 26, 1967. He leaves sisters, Mrs. Cassius (Thylda) Mills, Joliet; Mrs. John (Dena) Scheilz, Chicago; brothers, Edmund and Clarence, both of Lockport; Ervin, Manhattan, Harold, Joliet; a twin brother, Oscar, and brother, Eric, preceded him Li death.

KEELER Alice M. Keeler, 82, of Springfield, formerly of Decatur died at 2:10 a.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital in Springfield. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the John F.

Survivors include his wife; daughters, Barbara Coleman of Hopewell and Bonnie Sue Shepherd of South Carolina; sons, John of Hopewell and Jerry in Germany with the Army; sister, Mrs. Golda Morris of Decatur; 10 grandchildren. MORROW Mrs. F.E. (Aleta) Morrow, 76, of 2128 E. WTood St. died at 10 p.m.

Monday in her home. Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Dawson Wikoff Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bement Cemetery, Bement Mrp. Morrow was born in LeRoy, a daughter of Christian and Elizabeth Godsell Peterson.

She moved to Decatur from New York City 11 years ago. She was a member of the Christian Church in New York City and retired from the Chemical Bank of New York City. She was also employed at the First National Bank in Champaign and the Bement State Bank. She married Francis Morrow in Bement. He died in 1935.

Mr. Patton was born in Dug-ger, a son of David and Forrest Fitzpatrick Patton. He moved to Decatur from Centralia 20 years ago. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, and the Elks Club. He was a lieutenant in the U.S.

Army during World War H. He was a retired president of the Decatur Wholesale Grocery Co. At the time of his death he was president of Tompat, Inc. He married Evelyn Gnna in Decatur. Surviving are his wife; son, Tom of Morganfield, daughter, Mrs.

Ronald (Penny) Reed of Rock Falls; brother, William of Paris; sisters, Mrs. Joann Meier of Westphalia, and Mrs. Freda Terry of Morgantown, W. and one grandchild. A stepson and a sister preceded him in death.

PETERSON Howard Peterson, 58, of 1255 Riverside Ave. died at 4:50 p.m. Monday in Barnes Hospital, St. Louis, where he hacTbeen a patient for two weeks. A memorial service will be at 8 p.m.

Peterson was born in Piatt County, a son of Elbert Lynn and Etnie M. Mylin Peterson. He worked as a water inspec tor for the Wabash Railroad. He also worked for Flint Eaton pharmaceutical form and ADM. He was a chemist at the A.

Staley Mfg. Co. He received a bachelor's degree in biology chemistry at Illinois Wesleyan University, and a master degree in education at Millikin Universi ty. He was a member of Masonic Ionic Lodge AF AM 312, Frontiers International and the Unitarian Fellowship. He married Lorraine S.

Shope was born in Franklin County, a son of David and Geanette Stebie Shope. He was a retired paper hanger and painter. He was affiliated with the Faries Parkway Church of the Nazarene. Last August at the Illinois State Fair the governor met and greeted him as the oldest person a', the fair that day. His wife, Helen preceded him in death.

He was a World War I Army veteran, and retired chief cook at the Singleton Restaurant. Mr. Stubbs leaves a brother, James Stubbs, and a sister, Mrs. Jessie Davis, both of Decatur. He was preceded in death by eight sisters.
