M.KMFV Despite a wintry chill in the thousands of people lined both, sides of Limestone street Monday night to watch a Junior Chamber: of Commerce sponsored Christmas parade which required 10 minutes, to pass. Estimates of the number of spectators varied but one enthusiastic Junior Chamber member claimed the total exceeded any previous year's Christmas parade attendance by at least 8,000. The Gaffney High School's float1 depicting an open Hible was judged the best in the parade. The Junior High's "Littlest Angel" received second place and "The Tortoise and the Hare" by the Gill Scouts took third place. 'f The first section of the parade consisted laijffly- of entries and floats by schools, Hoy and Girl Scout organizations, beauty queens, and various civic groups, with Buford St.
