The hostess served refreshments of sandwiches, potato chips, cake and tea follow^ ing the evening's game. Buchanans Entertain Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Buchanan entertained the office personnel of the Buckeye Cotton Oil Company with a buffet supper at their home Saturday evening. Gives Luncheon Mrs. Richard Ferguson entertained guests from Osceola and Wilson with a luncheon Wednesday at her home. Those present were Mrs. Ed Alder, Mrs.. Jimmy Bass, Mrs. D. V. Maloch, Mrs. Everett Burns, Mrs. Harold Jones, Mrs. Raymond Owens, all of Osceola and Mrs. Bob Cummings, Mrs. Gene Burns, Mrs. Charles Bay Harwell, Mrs. O. M. Shultz and Mrs. Elstner D. Beall, all of Wilson. Personals Mr. and Mrs. Jim Germany and daughter Patty returned home Monday from a vacation with her brother, Robert Peeper, and family In Ypsilanti, Mich., and her sister, Mrs. Charles Ed Owens, and family in Flint. They also motored to Windsor, Canada while in Ypsilanti. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Smith were in Memphis last week to see his father, W. H. Smith, of Bassett, who is a patient at Gartley-Ramsey Hospital. < Mrs. D. T. Bledsoe of Pine Bluff Is visiting her sister, Mrs. B. F. Potter, and Mr. and Mrs. Garland Trammel. k Mr. and Mrs. George Holmes and • baby have moved to Wilson from Earle. Mr. Holmes is employed at Buckeye Cotton Oil Company. Mr. and Mrs. James Reed and family are visiting his parents at their home near Corning this week. Mrs. J. A. Hardin of Helena spent a few days last week with Mrs. Lola Porter and Mr. and Mrs. Asa J. Porter and family. Mrs. John Miller and baby are spending this week with her parents In Little Rock. Mr. and Mrs. Gilly Wright and family have returned from a vacation trip to Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico. Mrs. D. B. Bledsoe and son, Benny, and Mrs. Clarence Medlin were in Memphis Monday. Mrs. Earllne Reeves of Trumann visiting her aunt, Mrs. Jack Smith, and her family. Wayne Alexander of the Navy, who is stationed at Norman, Okla., spent the week end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Alexander, and family. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Greenwell and family, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Whitaker and daughters and Mr. and Mrs. :harles Beall and family are vacationing in Gulfport, Miss. Mrs. Alvin Fuller Is back home from the Baptist Hospital in Mem)his where she underwent treatments last week. Mrs. Eva Kerlin entered the Methodist Hospital in Memphis, Tuesday, 'or treatments. This is -the third time Mrs. Kerlin has been a patient in the hospital this year. The other two times she underwent surgery. Garland Trammel, Lynn Trammel and sons and Tony McAfee and sons are on a fishing trip this week, week, near Elaine. Dr. and Mrs. James W. Reynolds and children spent last week with his parents. Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Wakefield, in Pine Bluff. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Brown Gwyn and children have returned from Mt. Sterling, Ky., where they visited her sister, Mrs. Joe Evans, Jr., and her family. Mrs. Evans and children, Nancy Cloe and Joe, Jr., accompanied them back to Wilson. Mrs. Evans will divide her time between her parents. Mr. and Mrs- T. J. McAfee, and the Gwyns.
