Montgomery was born in Grant-sburg, daughter of Peter E. and Tessie Laswell. She was a member of Lower Ash Grove Church of Christ and Ash Grove Home Extension. She married Dewey Manion in 1922. He died in 1951.

She married R.H. Montgomery in 1952. Surviving are her husband; sons. Bob Manion of Pana; Paul of Stewardson; Richard Manion of Spokane, Donnie Manion of Quincy; daughters, Loretta Lowe of Worth; Laura Belle Miller of Mount Carmel; Imogene Manion of Mattoon; Maxine Adrian of New Lenox; Betty Skarr of Seattle, Ruth Dunackshy of Winstead, Alice Kennan of Paxton; Ruby Davis of Mount Vernon; Joanne Hopper of Decatur; half brothers, Albert Landrus and Joe Ireland, both of Francisco, Johnny Landrus of Colorado Springs, half sisters. Hazel Taylor of Windsor; Madge Leachet of Neoga; Relma White of Princeton, 44 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.

Two sons preceded her in death. Oathout Howard C. Oathout, 62, of Chattanooga. died 2 p.m. Thursday (Nov.

22, 1979) in Chattanooga. Services and burial will be Saturday morning in Chattanooga. He was born in Bethany, a son of Roy and Mary Oathout. He married Pauline Cole in 1938. Surviving are his wife; daughter, Mrs.

Fred (Marjorie) Long of Lobel-ville, brothers, Orville of Bethany; Roy B. of Decatur; sisters, Mabel Allen of Stonmgton; Gladys Malone of Mattoon; Mary Tully of Satellite Beach, Fla. two grandsons. urday in Glendale Cemtery.Fillmore. Mr. Williamson was born in Santa Ana, son of Clell and Gladys Cook Williamson. He was employed as an insurance adjuster and was a U. S. Navy veteran.

Close vote predicted on Hawaii strike pact HONOLULU (AP) Some members of a union negotiating team predict a close vote on a proposal to end a month-long public workers' strike that closed schools for almost three weeks and left garbage piled up thoughout the Hawaiian islands. The United Public Workers negotiating team was reported to have accepted the management pay offer by a 7-6 vote, and several members of the team said they will speak out against ratification. Sunday. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Mr. Jones was born in Bloomington, soni of William and Mabel Jones. He was retired from the City of Decatur Water Department, a former precinct committeeman and a member of West Side Church of the Nazarene.

He married Sylvia Gilman. She died Feb. 2. Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Em-mett (Thelma) Zientara of Niantic; Mrs.

Forrest (Beverly) Smith of Decatur; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. One sister preceded him in death. Logan Mrs. Earl E. (Mary Barnes) Logan, 85, of 817 W.

Packard St. died 10:35 a.m. Friday (Nov. 23, 1979) in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Dawson Wikoff Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Boiling Springs Cemetery. Memorials: American Diabetes Association or First Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Logan was born in Ashmore, daughter of Logan Givens and Elizabeth Blanche Barnes. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and was a graduate of Millikin School of Child Culture where she taught for several years.

She married Earl E. Logan in 1925. Surviving are her husband; daughters, Mrs. John (Norma) Ziese of Decatur; Mrs. Edward P.

(Betty) Hancock of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Mrs. Beverly A. Hinton of Batavia; nine grandchildren. McCandlish Mrs.

Owen Ft. (Olive T. Johns) McCandlish, 95, of Fair Havens Christian Home died 6:45 a.m. Thursday (Nov. 22, 1979) in Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Dawson Wikoff Funeral Home, with visitation 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Toledo Cemetery, with 1 p.m. Monday graveside services.

Mrs. McCandlish was born in Toledo, a daughter of John and Mary Johns. She was a member of United Methodist Church. She married Owen R. McCandlish in 1907.

He died in 1964. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in Fricke Funeral Home, Mount Pulaski, with visitation 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Laenna Cemetery, Chestnut.

Memorials: Chestnut Methodist Church. Mr. Baker was born in Chestnut, son of Samuel and Sarah Baker. He was a sawmill and railroad employee. He married Uva Julia Dunn in 1916.

Surviving are his wife; son, Elmer "Pete" of Tucson, daughters, Eyalena Moor, Wilma Baum and Julia Decker, all of East Peoria; Harriet En-loe of Lake Petersburg; Irma Buckles of Mount Pulaski; 35 grandchildren; great-grandchildren. Two sons and two brothers preceded him in death. Betty Edward Paul Betty, 52, of Charleston died 2:20 p.m. Thursday (Nov. 22, 1979) in Carle Hospital, Urbana.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Schilling's Funeral Home, Mattoon, with visitation 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, and 7 p.m. Masonic rites. Burial will be in Dodge Grove Cemetery, Mat-toon.

Butler Ray Butler, 72, of Kincaid died Friday afternoon (Nov. 23, 1979) in St. Vincent Memorial Hospital, Taylorville. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday in St.

Rita's Catholic Church, Kincaid, with visitation 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Masterson Funeral Home, Kincaid. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Pawnee. Mr. Butler was born in Marion, son of Mr.

and Mrs. Philip Butler. He was a caretaker at Morton Arboretum Botanical Garden in Lisle until he retired in 1966. He married Margaret Cas-sidy in 1945. She died in 1971.

Garrett Retha Marie Bay Garrett, 75, of Flora died 6:30 p.m. Thursday (Nov. 22, 1979) in Flora Nursing Center. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in John T.

Frank Funeral Home, Flora, with visitation 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Flora. Mrs. Garrett was born in Fort Collins, daughter of George E.

and Katie Bay. She was a member of Flora United Methodist Church. Surviving are sons, Eldon, Robert L. and Rex, all of Flora; Vernon E. of Rock Falls; brother, Sylvester Bay of Flora; sister, Versa Benton of Richland, 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Peruzzi was born in Ramsey, daughter of Charles H. and Laura Jackson. She was a ceramic artist and for many years her studio in Virginia was the center for innovative and creative ceramic work. She married Harlan T.

Gerrish, who died in 1929. She married Norman Williamson 1930. She married Thomas J. Peruzzi in 1958. Surviving are her husband; son, William J.

Gerrish of Patoka; daughters, Eunice Gerrish Shea of Belleville; June Williams Schreppel of Maitland, brother, Alva Jackson of rural Vandalia; sister, Ollie Elder of Shobonier; 13 granchildren; 11 great-granchildren. Traub John A. Traub, 84, of rural Mason died 8:45 a.m. Friday (Nov. 23, 1979) in Bible Grove.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday in St. John's Lutheran Church, Effingham County, with visitation after 5 p.m. Saturday at Neal Funeral Home, Louisville. Burial will be in St.
