R.V. was born on January 06, 1948 in Brownsville, Tennessee, the son of Roosevelt Bass and Helen Currie Bass. After graduating in R.V. Bass 1966 from Carver High School in Brownsville, TN, he enlisted ARMY in the United States Army and was a proud Veteran of the Vietnam War.

He served in the Army Reserves for more than 20 years and he loved to work on foreign automobiles. On December 28, 1968, he united in Holy Matrimony to Lue E. Bass and to this union, two children were born. He worked as a millwright at Mueller Company. He leaves to cherish fond memories, two sons, Tracy Bass and Korey Bass both of Decatur; three brothers, L.V.

Bass, Willie Bass and Colliga Bass all of Decatur; one sister, Dorothy Bass of Decatur; five grandchildren, Timothy, Tylin, Kaprice, Kamron and Kha-Liyah; special cousins, Patricia Currie, Russell Currie, Roderick Currie and Sheila Bennett; special friend, John Hess (Cookie), and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Celebration of Life Services will be 12:00 Noon Saturday, July 5, 2008 in New Salem Baptist Church, 1445 N. Edward St. with Pastor Tyrone Oldham officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services in the church.

Burial will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, July 7, 2008 at Camp Butler National Cemetery with Military Honors by the Macon County Honor Guards. His father, Roosevelt Bass and grandson, Korey Bass Jr. preceded him in death. Please express your condolences to the family of R.V.

She was born on August 7, 1931, in Maroa, IL, the daughter of Clayton and Gladys (Rau) Rogers.

Barbara was a member of the United Church of Sandwich, in Sandwich, IL. She was employed, for many years, as an Accountant. Barbara was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, niece and aunt who will be missed by her family and many friends. She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Ann (Gerald) Petersen, of Sheridan, IL, and Cheryl Diane Gray, of Hinckley, IL; her grandchildren, Nikole Petersen, of Plano, IL, Tiffany (David) Gosnell, and Danielle Petersen, both of Sheridan, IL, Emily Frauenfelder, of Yorkville, IL, and Michael Frauenfelder, of Yorkville, IL; her aunt, Edna Rogers, of Maroa, IL; her sister-in-law, Sue Rogers, of Maroa, IL; her caregiver, Marianna Alinska, of Sandwich, IL; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Gladys Rogers; her sister, Roberta Young; and her brother, John Rogers.

Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 3, 2008, at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home, 1010 W. South Plano, IL, with Pastor Chungnam Kwak officiating. Friends may visit from 4:00 P.M. until the hour of Service on Thursday, July 3, 2008, at the Funeral Home in Plano.

He was a past employee of Aramark and presently worked as a maintenance operator for the Decatur Public Building Commission. He was a member of Kingdom Come Ministries. He united in Holy Matrimony to Nysa Lee Scott on October 24, 1970.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, two brothers and one sister. Mr. Roy was retired from Faller Motors as service manager and was owner and operator of Carl V. Roy Ornamental Iron. He was a U.S.

She was the daughter of Claudia Marshall Oliver and Lloyd Eugene Oliver. Survivors include her husband of nearly 33 years, Samuel David Buxton; one son, Nathan Oliver Buxton and his wife Jessica of Charleston, IL; and three stepchildren, James David Buxton and Cynthia Hubbard, both of Charleston; and Stephen (Sammy) Wilbur Buxton of Nashville, IL; grandchildren include: Makalie Buxton Of Charleston IL; Wyatt of Sullivan, IL; Taelor Davis of Mattoon, IL; Zachary Buxton of Charleston, IL; Matt Richardson of Chicago, IL; Sammy and Daniel Richardson of Sullivan, IL; Paige Alexandra, Samantha, Colby, and Ashleigh Buxton of Nashville, IL. Claudette attended the University of Illinois and graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a B.S. in Education in 1968 and a Master of Arts in English in 1969. Other than a brief stent as a newsletter writer and production editor of a magazine in Colorado in 1977-78, she spent most of her life as a dedicated English teacher at the following schools: Lake Land College 1969 77, Cumberland High School 1979-80; Project Edits Coordinator, Gifted Education 1980-82, Dieterich High.

School 1982- 90, evening classes at Eastern Illinois University, and Sullivan High School 1990 until her retirement in 2004. Besides teaching, she also had four articles published was nominated for Who's Who in America's Teachers several times. She was preceded in death by her father and brother.
