"Terrelle is one in a million," says his coach, Ray Reitz. "A lot of longtime observers in this area say he's the best athlete to play here.

I know he's the best I've ever seen." Pryor is the first Pennsylvania high school athlete to pass and rush for more than 4000 yards each in his career. He completed 232 of 399 passes for 4340 yards and ran 435 times for 4238 yards. In all, his play led to 125 touchdowns. As a senior, or led the Jayhawks to a 16-0 record and is one a state Class AA in a championship. Demillion' spite playing only five complete games this year (he was rested when victory was certain), he rushed 143 times for 1899 yards and 33 touchdowns and completed 87 of 130 passes for 1889 yards and 23 scores.

He scored or passed for a total of 58 touchdowns, including a TD reception in the state finals and a 100- yard returned interception in the semifinals. "Terrelle has tremendous physical skills," says Reitz. "You hear the word 'great' used to describe a lot of athletes, but it fits him." Also an elite basketball player, Pryor has a B-plus academic average and college-scholarship offers coast-to-coast, with Florida, Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon and Penn State at the top of his list.
