Stewart, executive vice president and general manager. Stewart said Saturday that chances are good that the exposition, America's largest annual fair in terms of attendance, will attract at least as many people as the 1955 event. Total attendance last year was 2,611,271. a new national attendance record.

This year's fair will be back on its usual 16-day schpdule, opening on Saturday, Oct. 6. and not on Friday night as was the case last year.
