had established himself as a dedicated musician at the University of Tennessee He played with a UT opera company during that time and practiced with various UT music ensembles Billie Arnold a secretary at UTs music department for 23 years remembered Jenkins would sit in front of the piano and play for four five or six she said was sort of an odd personality" In recent months Jenkins
