Walter (Florence King) Lantz, 93, of Long Beach, formerly of Shelby ville, died 4 p.m. Saturday (May 31, 1980) in Hacienda Re-dondo Senior Residence, Long Beach, Calif.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Howe Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, with visitation one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville. Mrs. Lantz was born in Pinckneyville, daughter of John J.

and Elmira King She was a member of First Christian Church, Shelbyville, and worked in the Lantz-Boettcher Funeral Home, Shelbyville. She married J. Walter Lantz in 1909. He died in 1953. Surviving are son, James W.

of Lincoln, Neb. one grandchild. One son, four brothers and one sister preceded her in death. Moore Inez Bryant Moore, 53, of West Terre Haute, formerly of Salem, died 11:06 a.m. Saturday (May 31, 1980) in Salem Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Rogers-Atkins Funeral Home, Salem, with visitation after 8 a.m. Burial will be in Bethesda Memorial Park, West Terre Haute, Ind. Mrs. Moore was born in Marion County, daughter of Herman and Gertrude Bryant.

She was a garment worker with Theodore Rich Terre Haute. Surviving are sons, Stanley Bryant of Colorado; Kevin Moore of Terre Haute, daughters, Laura Jamison of Champaign; Christina Wright of Indianapolis, brothers, Clifton Bryant of Salem; Herman Bryant of Odin; sisters, Wava Coatney and Roma Hoskey, both of Salem; six grandchildren. One son preceded her in death. Phillips Mrs. Harvey (Pearl) Phillips, 79.

of Beecher City died 9:25 a.m. Sunday (June 1, 1980) in Lutheran Care Center, Altamont. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Lockart Sons Funeral Home, Beecher City. He was a retired farmer, a member of Moose Lodge and M.H. Methodist Church, Waterloo, Iowa.

He married Dorothy King. Surviving are his wife; sons, Jack M. of Salem; Percy R. of White Castle, La. daughters, Joyce Loessner of Fen-ton, Fydney Hilderand of California; brothers, Dwight of Cedar Falls, Iowa; Merton of Del Ray Beach, Harry of Fairmount, 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Hildebrand Eric Michael Hildebrand, 9-year-old son of Carl W. and Martha Anne She-horn Heldebrand of rural Clay City, died 4:35 p.m. Saturday (May 31, 1980) of injuries suffered in a bicycle accident near Sailor Springs. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Cardascio Funeral Home, Clay City, with vistiation 6 to 9 p.m.

Monday. Burial will be in Smith Cemetery, rural Clay City. Eric was born in Flora. He was a student at Clay City Grade School. Surviving are his parents; brothers, James D.

and Jeffrey both at home; sisters, Mrs. Bruce (Carla) Col-clasure of Clay City; Julia at home; grandparents; Mr. and Mrs. C.R. Hildebrand of Clay City; Willie Shehorn of Flora; great-grandmother, Celestia McKinney of Clay City.

Lampe Mrs. August (Hazel L. Linen) Lampe, 85, of Nokomis died 6:15 p.m. Saturday (May 31, 1980) in Golden Manor Nursing Home, Nokomis. Graveside services will be 10 a.m.

Lampe was born in Hammond, daughter of John and Ida Linch. She was a retired supervising nurse, a retired employee of the Senior Citizens of Kankakee and a member of the Illinois State Nurses Association. She married William Wisswell in 1964. He preceded her in death. She married August Lampe, who died in 1976.

Bierman Mrs. Herman (Mary) Bierman, 91, of rural Wheeler died 4:30 p.m. Sunday (June 1, 1980) at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital, Effingham. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Wright Funeral Home, Dieterich.

She was born in Cumberland County, daughter of Conrad and Catherine Ru-holl Henkelman. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Teutopolis, and St. Ann Women's Society. She married Herman Bierman in 1908.

He died in 1955. Surviving are sons, Louis, Lawrence and Herman, all of rural Wheeler; daughters, Mrs. Victor Lidy and Mrs. Leonard Cohorst, both of Wheeler; Mrs. Adrian Flack of Sigel; brother, Frank Henkelman of Teutopolis; sister, Mrs.

Henry (Elizabeth) Haskenherm of Teutopolis; 30 grandchildren; 64 greatgrandchildren. Eaglin Mrs. Elba (Alma R. Roberts) Eaglin, 72, formerly of Odin, was found dead Friday morning in her home in Marshall. Funeral services will be 2 p.m.

Tuesday in Wilson Funeral Home, Odin, with visitation after noon Tuesday. Burial will be in Peaceful Valley Cemetery, Odin. She was born in Williamson County, daughter of S.E. and Amanda Franklin Roberts. She was a member of Odin Methodist Church.

She married Elba Eaglin. He died in 1971. Surviving are son, Garald of Marshall; sisters, Chloe Rushing of West Frankfort; Helen Harris of Johnson City; three grandchildren. Friedley Roy Lewis Friedley, 79, of Salem died Sunday (June 1, 1980) in Salem Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in McCracken Funeral Home, Pana, with visitation 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will bei Linwood Cemetery, Pana. Mr.

Stockdale was born in Shelby County, son of David and Naomi Stock-dale. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the Methodist Church. He married Katherine Barringer in 1928. She died in 1977. Surviving are daughter, Mrs.

Wallace Mrs. C.W. (Ethel Agnes Roberts) Wallace, 96, of Herrick died 9:15 a.m. Sunday (June 1, 1980) in Shelby County Memorial Hospital, Shelbyville. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m.

Wednesday in Wallace Carroll Funeral Home, Herrick, with visitation 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Price Cemetery near Herrick. She was born in Shelby County, daughter of Joseph O. and Alice J.

Smart Roberts. She was a member of Herrick Christian Church and 50-year member of Oconee Order of Eastern Star. She was a retired schoolteacher and funeral director and co-owner of Wallace and Carroll Funeral Home and Hardware Store, both of Herrick. She was a member of district, state and national Funeral Directors Associations. She married C.W.

Wallace who preceded her in death. Surviving is a sister, Betty Roberts of Herrick. One son and two sisters preceded her in death. Study: U.S. gas use by NEW YORK (AP) The United States is "woefully unprepared" for new- interruptions in oil imports and should cut gasoline consumption by 20-25 percent to ensure its future international security, a Harvard University report said Sunday. The report by Danel Yergin, director of the international energy seminar at Harvard's Center for International Affairs in Cambridge, said the suggested reduction in gasoline use "would have the same effect as a new Kuwait or a new Iran to the world oil market." The U.S.

imports half its oil supply. Gasoline accounts for one-third of the oil consumed in the United States, and "one out of every nine barrels of oil used in the world every day is burned as gasoline on American highways," the report said.
