manufacturer with a plant already planned in Maryville is also studying a handful of East Tennessee communities as possible sites for two manufacturing plants whose construction it may announce by late August The manufacturer is Nippon-denso a big Japanese auto parts maker that is building a 550-job $200 million starter and generator plant in Maryville It is studying six cities in Tennessee two cities in North Carolina one city in South Carolina and sites in Michigan for a compressor plant the size of its Maryville plant said Third National Bank of Knoxville officials have put together a $20 million loan package that would make the bank a leader in inner-city investment sources said Monday If the proposal is discussed the board is expected to approve the 10-year loan blueprint today The
