the scenes ginning Dec 1 when the switches from its current Fox affiliation to an affiliation with ABC At the same time current By Tom Walter 1 Tha Commercial Appeal sta-Son ABC affiliate Channel 13 which now is owndd by Fox Inc and will switch to Fox on Dec intends to peef up its own newscasts adding hours of news daily Channel 13 has hired Chip Washington from a Jackson Miss TV station to be its similar duties at Channel 24 Alisa Weinstein been a field producer at KTLA-TV in Los Angeles will be a reporter-producer at Channel 24 Channel 24 has hired two veteran Memphis producers to produce their newscasts Stephanie Jones has been producing the 10 pm newscast at WREG-TV Channel 3 And Peggy Dierrson has been executive producer at WHBQ-TV Channel 13 Other producers include Dianne Smith
