And that's meant they continued to watch WCIA (CBS, Champaign) for news and talk shows, although in some cases not as strongly as in past ratings periods. WCIA continues strong leads over WAND (ABC, Decatur) and WICS (NBC, Springfield) in news numbers at 6 a.m:, mid-day, 5 and 6 p.m., although WAND is making a strong run at 6 a.m. and finishing a strong second in its 5 p.m. newscast, beating out reruns of "Home Improvement." Here are the news ratings for Central Illinois for the November period.
