for merly of Crawfordsville Ind died sud denly of angina pectoris at a hotel here this morning He had been here on busi ness for two days having left the West several days ago and stopping in his former Indiana home for a visit He was In excellent health last night and sat up until late watching election returns He was 111 only an hour this morning when death came He was the brother of Henry Lane Wilson ambassador to Ico and In addition the widow daughter Helen survive Mr death came as a snuck to Indiana friends here very tond of mingling with the cor respondents of newspaper row and spent the greater part of last evening with Indiana newspaper men here He was in fine spirits and spoke enthusiastically of spending future years with Mrs Wilson In traveling in various countries daughter Mrs Chapin who arrived from New York this afternoon Many floral tributes from Washington friends wore delivered to the stricken widow and daughter at the Wil lard Hotel this afternoon and
