Fox who died yesterday in a fire at her home will be held at 10 a tomorrow at Mann's chapel Bearden Mrs Fox 58 Gallaher View Rd was asphyxiated by smoke from a fire in the den of the home The Rev A Pedigo will conduct the services Burial will be in Edeewood Cemetery The family will receive friends tonight at Mann's Started in Den Fire Chief Robert Green said the fire started in the den of the house He attributed it to either faulty wiring or the TV set He said Mrs Fox was apparently napping in a front bedroom when the fire broke out The fire did not get to foe bedroom where she lay in bed She was overcome by heavy smoke which filled the house he said The fire was discovered by a brother-in-law Charles Cain who called the Fire Department The Cains live nearby Mr Cain said he saw foe down Friday Wallace foe owner announced today The location is at 127 Bearden Place not far from the Central St-N Broadway intersection Gcddys former operator of Knoxville Steam at the Bearden Place address owns the building No plans for it have been announced The laundries were merged in 1953 Mr Wallace in laundry operation since his U-T graduation is president of Model Steam Star and Mrs Wallace associated with her husband in business many years is vice president Beiitz is secretary-treasurer At one time the laundry employed 145 people and operated 16 trucks It now has some 50 employes and six trucks Mr Wallace said the laundry office will remain open two to three weeks in order that customers can pick up their laundry The trucks will not operate after Friday Knoxvill
