Surviving are her husband; sons, Cletus, Bernard and Herman, all of Claremont; Elmer of Sumner; Ralph and Cyril, both of Dundas; Wilbert of Olney; daughters, Lorena Ginder and Bernetta Hahn, both of Olney; Dorothy Kocher of Claremont; Irene Kocher of Dundas; Alice Ritz of Newton; brothers, Anthony and Enoch Kocher, both of Claremont; sister, Emma Ginder of Olney; 70 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren. Mr. Turner was born in Moultrie County, son of Otto E. and Laura May Turner Sr. He was a member of First Baptist Church Mattoon. He married Jessie Jenkins in 1944.

One son, two brothers and one sister preceded him in death. WHITESELL Mrs. Patrick (Ella Rei-nert) Whitesell, 78, of Lincoln died 1:55 a.m. Thursday in Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Lincoln. Funeral services will be 10 a.m.

Saturday in Kerrigan Funeral Home, Lincoln. No visitation. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery Lincoln. Mrs. Whitesell was born in Castrop, Germany, daughter of Alois and Bernadine Reinert.

She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Lincoln, and Lincoln Foster Grandparents. She married Patrick H. Whitesell in 1916. He died in 1963.

Surviving are daughter, Mrs. Louise Fitzer of Lincoln; one grandson; four great-grandchildren. Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death. YATES Orville- Yates, 86 of Shelbyville, formerly of Decatur, died 12:25 p.m. Wednesday in Shelby County Memorial Hospital, Shelbyville.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday in McMullin Funeral Home, Bethany, with visitation 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Oak Grove Ceme- tery near Bethany. Mr.

Yates was born in Sullivan. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Bethany, and the American Legion. He married Theodochia Stan-derfer in 1920. She died in 1961. Surviving are sons, Albert, Emerson and Loran, all of Decatur; Frank, Jimmie and Robert, all of Garden Grove, daughter, Mrs.

Orvil-leen Kite of Decatur; 21 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren. Two grandchildren preceded him in death. FOOTBALL CHAMPIONS The 1976 Class 2A Illinois state high school football championship was won by Fulton High School (Whiteside Co.) whichdefeated Gillespie (Macoupin Co.) 8-0 in an overtime title game at Illinois State University on Nov. 26. GENERAL ASSEMBLY Of the 236 members of the current Illinois General Assembly, 57 were newly elected last November 15 senators and 42 representatives.

Hoit, of Mesa, -formerly of Decatur, died 3:20 p.m. Tuesday in Mesa Christian Home in Mesa, Ariz. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, Quincy. No visitation.

Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery, Quincy. Miss Hoit, was born in Quincy, daughter of George amd Mathilda Bachman Hoit. She was past-president of the Business and Professional Women's Club of Decatur and a member of the Zonta International Club. She was secretary-treasurer of Bachman Co. furniture store in Decatur for many years.

After her retirement she moved to Quincy and later to Mesa, Ariz. One brother and five sisters preceded her in death. LICHTENBERGER Harry A. Lichtenberger, 80, of 1968 E. Prairie Ave.

died 6:15 p.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Hospital. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at the Dawson Wikcff Funaral Home. Burial will be in Graceland" Cemetery.

Mr. Lichtenberger was bom in Oreana, a son of James and Ida Lichtenberger. He was a member of West-minster Presbyterian Church and was retired after more than 30 years service with the A.E. Staley Mfg. Co.

as a statistician in the engineering department. He was a member of the Ste-phen Decatur Lodge 979 He married Gladys L. Rine-hart in 1923. She died in 1957. Surviving are a son, Donald E.

of Decatur; brother, Virgil E. of Decatur. LYNN Charles E. Lynn, 66, of 24 South Dr. died 10:30 a.m.

Thursday in St. Mary's Hospital. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Brintlinger's Pershing Funeral Home, with visitation after 6 p.m. Friday.

Central Illinois BRUNER Dr. Allen M. Bruner, 74, of Hartman, formerly of Be-ment and Monticello, died 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in Clarksville, Hospital. Funeral services will be 2 p.m.

Sunday in Roux Funeral Home, Bement, with visitation after 6 p.m. Saturday. Burial Memorials: Skilled Nursing Home for Retarded Children, Clarksville, Ark. Dr. Bruner was born in To-peka, Kan.

He practiced general medicine in Bement and Monticello for 24 years. He married Frances Adams. Sflrviving are his wife; son, (Dr.) John of Phoenix, daughter, Mrs. Carol Cramer of Tucson, Ariz. COLEMAN Joseph G.

Coleman, 85, of Stonington died 6 p.m. Wednesday in Meadow Manor Nursing Home, Taylorville. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Connolly Funeral Home, Taylorville, with visitation 7 to 9 p.m. Vriday.

Burial will be in Old Stonington Cemetery. i Mr. Coleman was born in Fayette County, son of Lulen and Emily Coleman. He married Opal Barham in 1932. She died in 1963.

Surviving are sons, Charles of Belleville; John and David, both of Decatur; Donald of Stonington; daughters. Pearl Weaver of Taylorville; Phyllis Blades of Pana; Vera Thoma-son and Kay Myers both of Stonington; Sue Farrell of Decatur; Juanita Schmidt of Peoria; Velva Putnam of Phoenix, sister, Pearl Snydsr of Decatur; 36 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild. One son preceded in death. DAVIS Virgil L. Davis, 59, of Hinds-boro died 1:55 a.m.

Thursday in Jarman Hospital, Tuscola. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Taber Funeral Home, Oakland, with visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Embarrass Cemetery, near Oakland.

1 Mr. Davis was born in Redmond, son of William H. and Harriet Davis. He was a member of Redmond Pentecostal Church and a veteran of World War II. He married Mildred Beasley.in 1950.

Surviving are his wife; brothers, Otto of Paris; Oscar of Arthur; sister, Mrs. Thelma Jean of Arthur. Four brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. HALL Mrs. John (Cora E.

Boaz) Hall, 75, of Vandalia died 7:25 p.m. Wednesday in Sunnydale Acres Care Center, Vandalia. Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Berry-Hohlt Funeral Home, Vandalia, with visitation after 5:30 p.m. Friday.

Burial will be in Independence Cemetery, near Vandalia. Mrs. Hall was born in Fayette County, daughter of Al-thus and Mary Boaz. She was a member of Independence Church of Christ, Ramsey. She married John Henry Hall in 1926.

He died in 1970. Surviving are stepson, John Hall of Des Moines, Iowa; stepdaughters, Mrs. Genevieve Casper, Mrs. Mildred Benefiel and Mrs. Julia Collins, all of Des Moines, Iowa; brother, Rollie Boaz of Salina, 10 grandchildren; '20 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.

One stepdaughter preceded her in death. HESTAND Mrs. Charles (Gladys Phillips) Hestand, 61, of Batavia died 7 p.m. Tuesday in Norris Hospital, Jacksonville. Private memorial services will be 10 a.m.

Saturday in Rankin Funeral Home, Salem. No visitation. Burial will be in Boyd Cemetery, Walnut Hill. Mrs. Hestand was born in Illinois, daughter of Ben and Emma Phillips.

She married Charles Hestand who preceded her in death. Surviving are daughters, Margaret Benjamin of Mere-dosia; Alice Denison of St. Charles; Juanita Lane of Odin; Lola Turner of Batavia; son, Charles of Milsap; brothers, John Phillips of Herrin; Arthur Phillips of Aurora; sisters, Elizabeth Campbell of Herrin; Emma Stonum of Elgin; Flossie Lee of Springfield; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. HUDSON Harry M. Hudson, 89, of Mo-weaqua died 1:30 a.m.

Thursday in Sjt. Mary's Hospital, Decatur. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Sherwood Funeral Home, Moweaqua, with visitation after 6 p.m. Friday.

Burial will be in Westside Cemetery, Moweaqua. Mr. Hudson was born in Moweaqua, son of Thomas and Viola Hudson. He was a retired farmer. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Mo weaqua, Shelby County P'arm Bureau and a 50-year member of Moweaqua Masonic Lodge Surviving is a brother, Ralph K.

of Moweaqua. One brother and five sisters preceded him in death. LADEW Daniel D. LaDew, 48, of Way-nesville died 5:15 p.m. Thursday in John Warner Hospital, Clinton.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Pullen-Boos Funeral Home, Clinton. Mr. LaDew was born in Waynesville, son of Goffrey E. and Wealthy LaDew. He was employed by the Illinois Division of Highways, was a member of Waynesville United Methodist rean Conflict and a member of Waynesville American Legion post.

He married Vona Jeane Moore in 1954. Surviving are his wife; sons, Steven K. of Davis-Monthan AirForce Base, Sheldon E. and Nathan, both of Waynesville; daughter, Laura LaDew of Waynesville; brothers, Andi'ew B. and Steve, both of Waynesville sisters, Adale Malone of Clinton; Mrs.

Margery Turner of Sherman. LANE. Mrs. Norman (Wilma M. Matheny) Lane, 63, of Clinton died 1:15 p.m.

Thursday in her home. Funeral s'ervices will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Pullen-Boos Funeral Home, Clinton, with visitation 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Baptist Cemetery, near Clinton.

Memorials: John Warner Hospital Building Fund, Clinton, or Clinton Free Methodist Church. Mrs. Lane was born in Vernon, daughter of Ollie K. and Winnie Inez Hull Matheny. She was a member of Clinton Free Methodist Church.

She married Norman Lane in 1935. He died in 1973. Surviving are sons, Robert of Momence; Jerry of Maroa; Richard of Mountain Home, mother of Clinton; brothers, Robert and William Malh-eny, both of Clinton; sisters, Bessie Chandler and Louisa Mandrell, both of Clinton; Charlotte Marks of Blooming-ton; Olive Woodward of Elizabeth, Irene Weinel of Richton Park; six grandchildren. ROBINSON Kelly Robinson, 91, of Mat-toon died 8:20 a.m. Thursday in Mattoon Manor Nursing Home.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home, Mattoon. Mr. Robinson was born in Breckenridge County son of Thomas and Hannah Robinson. He was a boflermaker for the New York Central and Illinois Central railroads and a member of First Christian Church, Mattoon. He married Lillie May Bruner in 1904.

She died in 1967. Surviving are daughter, Mrs. Arne (Lydia) Hansen of Port Arthur, brother, Victor of Paducah, sisters, Mrs. Bessie Butler of Dyer, grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Two daughters, four brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

SPAIN Mrs. Paul (Laura Riddle) Spain, 62, of Mattoon died 9:50 a.m. Thursday in her home. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Schilling's Funeral Home, Mattoon, with visitation 5 to 9 p.m.

Friday. Burial will be in Dodge Grove Cemetery, Mattoon. Mrs. Spain was born in Jackson, daughter of David and Minnie Riddle. She married Paul Spain, who died in 1967.

Surviving are sons, Clay, Paul and David, all of Mattoon; daughters, Mrs. Dennis (Donna) Farrier of Argenta; Mrs. James (Lou Ard and Mrs. Ray (Mary Helen) Towle, both of Mattoon; sisters, Mrs. Louise Seabaugh of Fredrick-town, Mrs.
