Services will be 2 p.m. Monday in Frank Bright Funeral Home, Flora, with the Rev. Jay Keele officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Flora. Mrs. Davis was born Aug. 9, 1903, in Parkersburg, the daughter of Emery Clay and Mamie Reynolds Compton. She was a member of Flora Eagles, Flora Moose, Flora American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Flora VFW Ladies Auxiliary and was a Gold Star Mother.

She married John Davis on April 29, 1922, in Flora. He preceded her in McKelvey DECATUR Pauline L. McKelvey, 99, Decatur, died Wednesday (Oct. 1, 2003). Graveside services: 11 a.m.

Monday, Fairlawn Cemetery. Arrangements by: Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes, Decatur. Smith DECATUR Maude Ina Smith, 83, of Decatur died 1:05 a.m. Friday (Oct. 3, 2003) in Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Dawson Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home with visitation 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday. Burial will Maude Smith be in Cerro Gordo Cemetery. Memorials: Temple Baptist Church.

Mrs. Smith was born Aug. 18, 1920, in Vandalia, the daughter of John and Nora Elizabeth Diss Albert. She was a cook for Decatur Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Temple Baptist, Church of the Brethren, Cerro Gordo, and Lakeview Baptist Church.

She married Ellis E. Smith on Dec. 1, 1938. He preceded her in death July 31, 1976. Surviving are her son, Leonard Smith and wife May of Cerro Gordo; daughters, Phyllis Smith of Decatur; Gale Jannink and husband Patrick of Decatur; brother, Jack Albert and wife Eileen of Decatur; sisters, Mildred Atte-berry of Decatur; Alice Inman and husband Claude of Decatur; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded by her parents; husband; son, Leroy Smith; and grandson, Daniel Leroy Smith. She will be greatly missed by those left behind but we all know that we will meet again someday. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial: Mount Gilead Cemetery. Si Wilson DECATUR Harry Clifford Wilson, 83, of Decatur died 1:02 p.m. Thursday (Oct.

2, 2003) in his home. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in GracelandFair-lawn Funeral Home with visitation 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery with military rites by Macon County Honor Guard.

Memorials: Shriner's Hospitals for Children. Harry was born March 27, 1920, in Danville, the son of Benjamin and Grace Shannon Wilson. He was a machinist for U.S. Steel for 43 years, retiring in 1985. He was a Navy veteran and served in World War II.

He was a member of the VFW Posts in Decatur and Gary, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Gary. He married Pauline Harmon on May 5, 1967, in Knox, Ind. She preceded him in death March 24, 1999. Surviving are his sons, Emery Wilson and Paul Wilson and wife Kay, all of Michigan City, Kevin Wilson of Decatur; daughters, Claudia Harris of Decatur; Connie Willis and Bonnie Hottenstein, both of Alabama; brothers, Charles Wilson of Valparaiso, Earl Wilson of Kingmon, sister, Minnie Koropp of Indiana; 20 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three wives, one son, one daughter, two brothers and four sisters.

legacy, comherald-review Greanias DECATUR Gregory S. Greanias, 50, of Newbury Park, formerly of Decatur, died Aug. 5, 2003, in Newbury Park. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Sunday in the Greek Orthodox Church, Decatur.

Greg was born Oct. 1, 1952, in Decatur. He spent most of his childhood in Decatur. He married Deborah Sergent in 1971. Surviving are his wife; daughter, Stephanie of Newbury Park; son, Andrew of Newbury Park; mother, Katherine Greanias of Houston, Texas; brothers, George and Basil, both of Houston.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gus G. Greanias. JJ Johnson DECATUR Myrtle Mae Johnson, 96, of Decatur went to be with the Lord at 8:25 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 2, 2003) in Sangamon Care Center, Springfield.

Life celebrating services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Moran Goebel Funeral Home with the Rev. Martin Eckert officiat Myrtle Johnson ing. Visitation will be one hour before services. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.

Condolences to the family: www.moranandgoebel.com. Myrtle was born Sept. 9, 1907, in Mascoutah, the daughter of Jessie Fred and Myrtle Ann Green Heinemann. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Lodge of Cerro Gordo. She was of the Lutheran faith.

She worked at Raycraft Drug Store in Decatur for many years. She married Anthony A. Johnson. He preceded her in death. Myrtle leaves behind to cherish fond memories, her sister, Romola Thompson of Jacksonville, niece, Joyce Parker of Springfield; several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Thomas Bly DECATUR N. Thomas Bly, 82, of Mount Vernon, formerly of Decatur, died Friday (Oct. 3, 2003) in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, with military rites by the Macon County Honor Guard.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes. Memorials: Diabetes Association. Mr. Bly was born June 27, 1921, in Cook County, the son of Harry and Mae McHugh Bly.

He was a World War II Army veteran. He was a retired truck driver and member of Teamsters Union Local 279. He was a TV and movie buff and a fan of John Wayne. He stayed up late to watch "In the Heat of the Night." He married Betty Lou Smallwood in March 1946 in Decatur. She preceded him in death in 1979.
