Burial will be in Old Stoning-ton Cemetery. Memorials: Assumption EMTs or Assumption Fire Department. Mrs. Allison was born Feb. 2, 1908, in Moweaqua, the daughter of Herman and Mildred Thompson Wempen.

She had worked as a nursery attendant in Rose Knoll Gardens in Assumption and was a member of Assumption Christian Church. She married Herman Earl Allison Dec. 25, 1927, in Taylorville. He preceded her in death Sept. 12, 1952.

Surviving are her sons, Dean and wife Christine of Long Valley, N.J.; Leonard of Decatur; LeLand and wife Peggy of Assumption; daughters, Louise Allison of Decatur; Lois Hart of Eureka; Doris Poiriez and husband J. Leroy of Normal; grandchildren, Linda Kimber, Ann Selvey, Christine Blackburn, Debbie Zubcic, Allison Keating, Caron Hibbens, Kathy Martin, Julie Morris, Jennifer O'Rear, Andrew Allison, Ryan Allison, Rob Allison, Darin Allison, Brian Allison and Kelly Allison; 25 great-grandchildren; three great-greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and one sister. Bailey SHELBYVILLE James Everett Bailey, 82, of Shelby-ville, formerly of Dalton City and DeSoto, died 1:35 a.m. Monday (Jan.

7, 2002) in Shelbyville Manor. Services will be 7 p.m. Thursday in Howe Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, James Bailey with the Rev. Greg Breeden officiating. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m.

Thursday. Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday in Woodlawn Cemetery, DeSoto, with military rites. Memorials: First Church of the Nazarene, Shelbyville, or Lincolnland Hospice. Mr.

Bailey was born Aug. 26, 1919, in Potosi, the youngest of 17 children of Edward and Amanda Venable Bailey. He was a retired glass-maker for Pittsburg Plate Glass in Mount Zion. Mr. Bailey was an Army veteran of World War II and was affiliated with the First Church of the Nazarene in Shelbyville.

He married Eula Henry. She preceded him in death. He later married Luda Gadberry Hardy June 1, 1973. Surviving are his wife; son, James H. Bailey and wife Linda of Sullivan; stepsons, David Hardy and wife Cheryl of Decatur; Jerry Ritchie and wife Marcella of DeSoto; daughter, Evalene Shackleford and husband Ron of Sugar Land, Texas; stepdaughters, Sheila Lane and husband Clifton of DeSoto; Sharon Trudeau of Owasso, sister, Nellie Perryman of Pilot Knob, 22 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife and 15 brothers and sisters. He will be missed by his loved ones and friends. Bogue ARCOLA Clara Bogue, 95, Areola, died Sunday (Jan. 6, 2002). Arrangements incomplete: Shrader Funeral Home, Areola.

Greider TAYLORVILLE Carolyn Kimball "Kim" Greider, 88, of Naples, formerly of Taylorville and Decatur, died Sunday (Jan. 6, 2002) in Naples Community Hospital after a short illness. She died peacefully with all six of her children present. Memorial services will be Tuesday in Vanderbilt Presbyterian Church, Naples. Local memorial services will be at a later date in Taylorville.

National Cremation Society, Naples, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials: First Presbyterian Church, Decatur. Mrs. Greider was born June 24, 1913, in Taylorville and grew up in Taylorville, where her father was the first Ford dealer in Central Illinois. Kim graduated from Christian College in Columbia, and the University of Illinois, where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta.

During the Depression, Kim owned and operated Kimlake Camp for Girls in Taylorville. After college, Kim moved to Decatur and worked as youth director of First Presbyterian Church, where she became the church's first woman elder. Mrs. Greider served as president of St. Mary's Hospital Auxiliary and co-chaired its first Fun Fair.

She worked as a volunteer coordinator for St. Mary's Hospital. She was a member of Zonta and PEO and was well known in Illinois and Florida for her book review programs and bridge games. She retired from the state of Illinois, having worked for the Department of Health and Aging. She organized the Senior Center in Decatur in 1972.

Kim married Harvey David Greider June 24, 1941. After their six children were grown, they cared for their nephew, Greider Kennedy, for seven years. They moved to Miami, and then to Naples. Surviving are her children, David (Christine Hissam) of Naples; John (Deborah) of St. Louis, Gretchen (Robert) Schade of Peterson, Mark (Paula) of Indianapolis, Christopher (Peggy Blake) of Naples; Molly (Edmund) Carroll of Betten-dorf, Iowa; 13 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband. Grubb OBLONG Lois M. Grubb, 72, Oblong, homemaker, died Friday (Jan. 4, 2002). Services: 11 a.m.

Surviving are his parents of Dalton City; brothers, Dale Puyear and wife Shirley of Sullivan; Jim Puyear of Athens; grandmothers, Fern Puyear of Bethany; Alma McClure of Sullivan; special nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. Woolington DECATUR Wayne Lindell Woolington, 70, of Decatur died Monday (Jan. 7, 2002) in his home. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in J.J. Moran Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. The family requests casual attire for Wayne Woolington the visitation and funeral. Burial will be in North Fork Cemetery with military rites by the Macon County Honor Guard. Wayne was born Sept.

24, 1931, in Decatur, the son of Frank L. and Theresa F. Kramer Woolington. He worked as an offset pressman for Industrial Printing for more than 34 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of American Legion Castle Williams Post 105.

Wayne was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan. He married Dorothy Ewing June 1, 1952, in Virginia. Surviving are his daughters, Terri Morey and husband Gary and Lori Moore and husband William, all of Decatur; brother, Laverne and wife Rosella of Decatur; sister, Dorothy Haynes of Decatur; grandchildren, Shawna Banks, Jason Stewart and Jessica and Payge Banks, all of Decatur; several nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, William Dooley, and brother-in-law, Robert Haynes.
