We are now in the midst of a war, not for conquest, not for vengeance, but for a world in which this nation, and all that th nation represents, will be safe for our children. A total of 216 new clubhouses is now being built and many of the rentals will be continued as part of the permanent USO program, bringing the total to approximately 400 clubhouses which will be staffed with some 1600 workers.
