Riley, West and the Clerk. Absent Supervisor Willard Smith, Chairman. The clerk called the board to order. Supervisor West was elected Chairman pro tem. Demands on the County of Orange were allowed as read.

Supervisor Smith arrives and assumes his duties as Chairman. Chairman was authorized to sign the affidavits for support of needy aged persons. Chairman was authorized to sign the affidavits for support of dependent children. Chairman was authorized to sign the affidavits for support of needy blind persons. Old Age Security Agreement for Transfer was granted on recommendation of the Director of the Department of Social Welfare.

Change Aid was granted on recommendation of the Director of the Department of Social Welfare. Old Age Security was granted on recommendation of the Director of the Department of Social Welfare. Renew'al Blind Aid was granted Edith Collins. Old Age Security was denied on recomnjendatlon of the Director of the Department of SociaJ Welfare. Blind Aid was granted Ruth Underwood and Floyd Wade.

Sheriff was authorized to install radio transmitters in 12 cars. Chairman and Clerk were authorized to sign the Oil and Gas Lease by and between the County of Orange and Hillman-Long Inc.

Resolution for placing back on the assessment roll of certain lots in Buena Park Sanitary District was passed and adopted. It was agreed to use $200.00 from the Advertising Fund for repair of Exhibit room ut the County Park. Clerk was authorized to record the Mortgages to the County of Orange. Purchasing Agent was authorized to purchase collapsible Road Signs for the Road Department. Purchasing Agent was authorized to purchase 1700 tons oil mix.

3 members of the Board were authorized to sign the agreement for rental of roadway machinery. Transfer of funds was ordered made. Resolution on sale of property of Pedro Hernandez was passed and adopted. Publication of official statement of proceedings of the Board was ordered made in the Santa Ana Register for 3 months.
