TUESDAY EVENING. OAKLAND TRIBUNE TUESDAY EVENING, EVIDENCE OF flllffi FOUND Stolen Note Discovered in Home of President of Looted Chi-cago Bank. OPEII III FOR FREIGHT 1 Great Chicago Bores Finished and Ready for Delivery of Merchandise. CHICAGO, Aug. 14. Th belief that Urge amounts of collateral f given as security for notea In the Milwaukee Avenue State bank hare been stolen practically became a certainty last nlaht when a note for 000 known to "be genuine, wii found in President SUniltfnd's house at Byron etreet and Ijawnaaie avenue, oearcn wa ui&ue for the collateral security, but It could ' not be found. The discovery opened up a field for almost unlimited speculation as to how far the looting proceeded before Btens-Und disappeared. If the real estate and other securities In the bank have been stojen or are found to be worthless, the amount of money left to pay the depositors probably will be reduced to as low as twenty-flve per cent. The criminal side of the bank case has- been placed In the hands of As-' sistant State's Attorney Barbour by Mr. Olson, who Is about to start for New Hampshire on a vacation. Mr. Barbour will be left In charge of the state's atorney office pending the return to Mr. Olson and State's Attorney Healy. Mr. Olson was Informed yesterday afternoon that P. O.
