Given under my hand at Chilliwack this 6th day of October, 1981. H. D. Dessario Returning Officer QQ99 As mentioned hare before, I have become addicted to bicycling and highly recommend it to anyone who would like to get a better look at our surroundings, get to know a lot of dogs (soma of which are hungry for human ankle) and make the acquaintance of crows, cows and horses. In our area there is little traffic to offend ones finer senses which includes an inordinate desire to stay alive.

And it is with that thought in mind that I'd like to point out a couple of things to motorists. When you see a cyclist ahead of you that you will soon overtake, toot your horn to let him know you are around It is sometimes difficult to hear the approach of a car or truck especially if the wind is blowing and when isn't it. And if you are following a car that is about to pass a cyclist toot also because most likely he won't hear you coming. And hey, guys, take those sharp corners on country roads slowly. ALL curves should be treated gently, especially if there the chance a biker may be lurking around them.
