One week was required to move ovens and other large equipment from old location, near the Tost Office, to the bright new quarters. The new store, with overall dimensions of 20 feet by 80 feet, is four feet wider and 20 feet deeper than the old bakery, with a total floor space of 1,600 square eet. Manager of the Chilliwack Bakery is genial A. E. "Ted" chines. The building has been painted throughout with a new iusecticidal paint by contractor Roy Bruce. The new paint combats mould formation common to bakeries and is impenetrable to insects.

The baking oven has been completely rebuilt by Nicholson Brothers of Vancouver and converted to automatic control. T.ue coffee shop, with borths lining the east wall, will seat 27 in specious comfort. A new disphy case fills the front window and a cake cupboard is on the west wall behind the coffee counter. Four fluorescent liyht units illuminate the coffee shop indirectly. Heating units operating frcm the oil furnace that fires the oven will warm the shop during winter.

Finished in a decor of pastel colors with chromium nosings End 1 moldings, the Chilliwack Bakery coffee shop will take its place with the finest in Chilliwack when it opens. Free coffee will be served dur- ing the opening of the new coffee shop. Several Coast Firms Supply Bakery Firms behind the opening to- morrow of the new Chilliwack Bakery store will include a list of out-of-town suppliers of goods and services. Standard Brands Ltd. will supply the bakery with Chase Sanborn tea and coffee that will be served at the lunch counter.
