JENSEN Funeral services were held for Olaf Jentoft Jensen, who died in Chilliwack General Hospital Tuesday, November 19. He was 77. Mr. Jensen was born in Jensjar, Norway, March 20, Kovacs, Lac La Hache, British Columbia; three daughters, Mrs. O.

K. (Helen) Van Sickle, Campbellville, Ontario; Mrs. F. R. (Elizabeth) Harris, Woodbridge, Ontario; Mrs.

L. J. (Margaret) Posen-er, Vancouver, 14 grandchildren; and one sister and two brothers in Hungary. MRS. CHRISTINA STOEHR A resident of Chilliwack for 27 years.

Mrs. Christina Stoehr died November 25 in iluarleS servant and war veteran, was born June 5, 1901 in Bournemouth, England, and had lived here for two years. He is survived by one son. Services at the Henderson Funeral Home Chapel were conducted by Rev. E.

L. Wilkin. Pallbearers were Ernest Yardy, Thomas Hickman, Robert Johnson, G. Elson, J. S.

Elko and George Smith. Interment was in Royal Canadian Legion Cemetery. MRS. M. J.

NEUFELD Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Mary J. Neufeld, who died suddenly in Matsqui-Sumas-Abbotsford General Hospital Tuesday, November 19. Mrs.

Neufeld was born August 1, 1910, in Russia. She had been in Canada 45 years, and had lived in Yarrow and district for 24 years. She was late of 4531 Cherry Road, Yarrow. She is survived by her husband, John one daughter, Mrs. J.

(Martha) Thiessen of Calgary; two sons, Edward in the Congo and Leonard, Three Hills, Alberta; four grandchildren; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nick Wiens, Clearbrook; seven brothers, Henry Wiens, Clearbrook; Cornelius Wiens, Abbotsford; Nick Wiens, Lynden, Alberta; Walter Wiens, Vancouver; Ernie Wiens, Trail; Reuben Wiens, Ghana, Africa, and John Wiens, Prince George. Services were held from the Alliance church in Yarrow, with Rev. John H.

Bell officiating. Henderson's Funeral Home, Abbotsford, were in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Interment was in Yarrow cemetery. MRS. K.

FALK Funeral services were held for Mrs. Katharina Falk, 65, who died suddenly in Mats-qui-Sumas-Abbotsford General Hospital Tuesday, November 19. Mrs. Falk was born on February 24, 1903, in Altona, Manitoba, but had lived in Yarrow and district for the past 17 years. She is survived by two sons, Adolph in South Burnaby and Walter of Yarrow; two brothers, Henry and John Klippenstein in a i oba.

Her husband predeceased her in 1950. Services were conducted at the Alliance Church in Yarrow, with Rev. John H. Bell officiating. Pallbearers were Fred Goosen, Ron Nickel, Murray Nickel, George Pen-ner, Nick Ketler, and Ben Derksen.

Interment was in Yarrow cemetery. Henderson's Funeral Home, Abbotsford, was in charge of arrangements. ELDON EDGAR LANGFORD Rev. D. J.

Nickel will conduct funeral services Friday at 11 a.m. for Eldon Edgar Langford, who died at his residence Monday. Mr. Langford, who was born in Middlesex, Ontario, February 8, 1878, had lived in this area for the past 11 years. Formerly of Dorchester, Ontario, Mr.

Langford had been a mixed farmer. He is survived by nieces and nephews in Ontario. 9 HEADRESTS TRUCK MIRRORS REAR WINDOW 1891, and had formerly been of Wadena, Saskatchewan, where he farmed. He had been a resident of this district for seven years. He is survived by his wife, Johanna; five daughters, Mrs.

C. (Anne) Peterson of Chilliwack; Mrs. H. (Ester) Peterson of Semans, Saskatchewan Mrs. C.

(Marge) Faust of New Westminster; Mrs. A. (Betty) Wann of Terrace; and Mrs. A. (Luella) McQuarrie of N'orth Surrey; one son, Olaf, of North Surrey; 22 grandchildren, and six great grandchildren; and one daughter Hjalmar, in Norway.

He was pre-deceased by two daughters. Rev. R. W. Bray conducted services in the chapel of Henderson's Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers were Cliff Russell, Dennis White, Milton Peterson, Don Olive, Hil-mer Anderson, and Dave Henderson; honorary pallbearers were Charles Bennett, Oliver Grigg, Adrian Norberg of Wadena; A. M. Reid of Wadena; Alex Rankin of Sols-kirth, Manitoba: Ole Lund of Lake Elma, Saskatchewan; and Tony Westling of Interment was in IOOF cemetery. MRS. ANNA BERGMANN Funeral services were held Monday, November 25, at 2:30 p.m., for Mrs.

Anna Bergmann, who died in Chil-liwack General Hospital on Thursday. She was 82. Mrs. Bergmann was born in Russia and had been a resident of this district for 37 years. She is survived by two sons, Abe of Sardis and John of North Surrey; three daughters, Mrs.

Jacob (Susie) Wiens of Sardis, Mrs. Peter (Bandina) Heppner of Sardis, and Mrs. Isaac (Elsie) Baerg of Abbotsford; 22 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren, and one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Helen Bergmann of Vancouver. She was predeceased by her husband John in 1962.

Rev. D. Froese and Rev. H. Dueck conducted the service at the Mennonite Brethren Church in Greendale, with Garden Chapel in charge of arrangements.

JOHN JOHANN BRAUN Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m., for John Johann Braun, who died in Matsqui Sumas Abbots-ford General Hospital November 22. He was 86. Mr.

Braun, who was born in Russia, has been a resident of this area for the past two years. During his life, he was a chicken farmer and bookkeeper. He is survived by his wife Maria; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Martens of Chil-liwack and Mrs. Mary Dueck of Winnipeg; seven grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; three brothers, Frank, Peter and David, all of Alder-grove.

Services were held at First Mennonite Church, Wellington Avenue and were conducted by Rev. Peter Froese. Pallbearers were Garry Pick-son, Herbert Braun, Edward Braun, Victor Dueck, Helmut Braun, and Albert Braun. Burial was in 100F cemetery. Garden Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Rev. A. W. Roth will officiate at the funeral service Thursday at 1:30 p.m., in Henderson's Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in IOOF cemetery.

Pallbearers will be George Payne, Morley Kitchen, Gus Lange and August Nickel. Mrs. Stoehr was born on December 14, 1901, in Poland. She formerly resided in Nokomis, Saskatchewan. She was a member of Evangelical Church.

She is survived by her husband Karl, 509 Yale Road East; one daughter, Mrs. N. (Irene) Vinette, Calgary, two sons, Ernie Rucks, Medicine Hat; and Alfred Rucks, Lani-gan, Saskatchewan; six grandchildren; three brothers, Gus Gerhardt, Quesnel; Julius Gerhardt, Kitimat; Edward Gerhardt, Medicine Hat; three sisters, Mrs. Lydia Erhardt, Govan, Saskatchewan; Mrs. A.

(Emma) Guenther, Guernsey, Saskatchewan; and Mrs. S. A. (Frieda) Roney, Regina. Her sister, Mrs.

G. Bauer, died in 1964 in Regina. MRS. ELLEN JANE TROTTER Funeral arrangements will be announced later for Mrs. Ellen Jane Trotter, formerly of 7 Hazel Street North, who died in Cranbrook.

She had resided in Chilliwack from 1944 until 1967. Henderson's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. MRS. EMMA NORRIS Funeral services were held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. for Mrs.

Emma Norris, who died suddenly in Rosedale on November 21. Mrs. Norris, who was born in Cornwall, Ontario, would have been 82 tomorrow (Thursday). She had lived in this district for the past 47 years. Her home was at 50548 Yale Road East, Rosedale.

She is survived by her daughter, Miss Elsie Norris, of Rosedale, and two sisters, Mrs. Florence Hulton of Chilliwack and Mrs. Annie Johnston of Regina. Her husband James predeceased her in 1963, as did a son, Leonard, in 1964. Services were conducted at the Henderson Funeral Home Chapel by Stanley Padgham.

Pallbearers were Charles Peterson, Stanley Johnson, Jack Hnatiw, Len Lachman, Anthony Kostiuk, and Fred Hine. Burial was in IOOF cemetery. DEREK H. C. ROSE Funeral services were held Friday for Derek Hewitt Charles Rose, who died at Cultus Lake on November 14.

He was 67. Butchart was raised in Chilliwack and moved to Vancouver from Hope 10 years ago. He had worked with B.C. Hydro. He is survived by his wife May; one son, Richard, of Vancouver; three daughters, Mrs. Bill (Diana) Ferguson of Surrey, and Elizabeth and Geraldine at home.

Also surviving are brothers David, of Vancouver; Bob, Len and Earl of Chilliwack and Jim of Abbotsford; four sisters, Mrs. A. G. (Gloria) Borschneck of Chilliwack; Mrs. Clarence (Edith) Klassen of Langley; Mrs.

Walter (Beverley) De-dick of Tsawwassen; and Mrs. Gordon (Gertie) Johnson of Vancouver; and his mother, Mrs. Edith Butchart of Surrey. Services were followed by cremation. S.

A. ATKINSON Funeral service will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in Henderson's Funeral Chapel for Sidney Alexander Atkinson who died November 24 at 122 Kipp Avenue. Interment will be in Carman cemetery. A logging camp attendant, Mr.

Atkinson was born on October 11, 1920, in Fort Steele, British Columbia. He is survived by his wife Andora and nine children. JOSEPH KOVACS Formerly of 5618 Hope-dale Road, Joseph Kovacs died unexpectedly November 16 in his new home in North Surrey. He had farmed in Chilliwack for 28 years, moving to North Surrey on October 4. Mr.

Kovacs was born on December 12, 1899, in Hungary. Rev. James Hutchison and Rev. Attila Csiszar officiated at the funeral service November 20 in Calvin Presbyterian Church, Vancouver. Interment was in Ocean View cemetery, Burnaby.

Mr. Kovacs is survived by his wife Helen, North Surrey; three sons, Joseph Kovacs, Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta; John F. Kovacs, Waterloo, Ontario; and Steven C.
