HEINRICH HEINRICH GOOSSEN Heinrich Heinrich Goossen, a resident of this district for 18 years and a former farmer and minister, died June 25 in Chilliwack General Hospital. Mr. Goossen, late of 41640 Central Road, Yarrow, was born June 15, 1880, in Alex-anderthal, South Russia. He was a member of the Men-nonite Brethren Church. Rev.

Henry H. Thielmann and Rev. David A. Friessen officiated at the funeral held Monday in the Mennonite Brethren Church. Burial was in the Yarrow cemetery.

Pallbearers were Rev. P. D. Loe-wen, Rev. Aron Rempel, Rev.

Peter Riesen, Rev. John Peters, Rev. David Klassen and Rev. Norman Fehr. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; daughters, Miss Martha Goossen and Mrs.

C. (Mary) Fast, Manitou, Manitoba; three sons, Henry H. Goossen, Chilliwack; Rev. John H. Goossen, Winkler, Manitoba; and Jacob H.

Mr. Buller was born in Marion, South Dakota, on September 5, 1883. He was a retired farmer. He is survived by his wife, Helena; two sons, William of Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan; Edward, Saskatoon; four daughters, Mrs. Peter (Emma) Priebe, Herbert, Saskatchewan; Mrs.

Albert (Mary) Bark-man, Morse, Saskatchewan; Mrs. Alvin (Linda) Schmidt, Ernfold, Saskatchewan; and Mrs. Corny (Irene) Braun, Hepburn, Saskatchewan; 21 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother, Jacob Buller, Clearbrook; one brother and one sister in the United States. July 11-14. The home of Anthony Kos-tiuk, McSween Road, was the scene of a construction program last Saturday, June 29, when 35 carpenters representing Vancouver, Surrey, Abbotsford as well as Chilli-wack gathered to construct tables and benches as well as a 20 ft. by 40 ft. platform to be erected later at the Coliseum. Peter Nelson, in charge of construction, said much was accomplished but it will take another "bee" next Saturday to meet the construction requirements for this convention.

A house-to-house canvass for accommodations continues with many Witnesses coming from all points of the Valley to help with this work. Eleven hundred accommodations have already been filled but requests continue to pour in to the convention head ciated at the funeral on Friday in SL Mary's Church. Burial was in St Mary's cemetery. Pallbearers were Gary Burns and Lawrence Whiteley. He is survived by his wife, Katherine, Vancouver, and six daughters.

ALMON MUNROE GAUTHIER Funeral service will be held today at 3 p.m. in Henderson's Funeral Chapel for Almon Munroe Gauthier who died June 27 in his home at Hussar, Alberta. A former resident of Vancouver and Chilliwack, he had lived in Alberta for six years. Rev. R.

Original Indoor Camp Meeting CHARLES ROBERT MALCOLM Former Chilliwack resident, Charles Robert Malcolm, 1616 Nelson Street, Vancouver, died June 29 in the Vancouver General Hospital. He was born February 18, 1900, in Vancouver and attended school in Chilliwack.

His parents, Mr. Benjamin T. Malcolm and Mrs. Mary Malcolm, were well-known here. He has lived in Vancouver for 35 years.

Mr. Malcolm, a saw filer and millwright, was a member of Vimy Lodge A.F. and A.M., No. 97, Vancouver. The funeral will be tomorrow (Thursday) at 3 p.m.

During their stay here, they used the Pentecostal Tabernacle, Young Street South and Second Avenue, as their headquarters. Many of the young people are from the United States, and they are spending their summer on Christian witness work in various communities.

They were billeted here in homes of members of the Pentecostal Tabernacle congregation. Concurrently with the work in Chilliwack, a contingent of 12 "Youth with a Mission" members visited homes in Abbotsford, another 10 in Mission City and six in Clov-erdale.
