All interest in the electric Hght movement in Frederick seems to be centering in the movements of the representatives of the Waterhouse Electric Company, of Baltimore. It seems to have been decided in ihe minds of the people that the efforts of the Thompson-Houston people to form, a stock company on the popular subscription baeis has proved anything but the success that is promised, and mat any immediate action in the matter that may be taken, no matter by what company, will be better than further delay. Last night Messrs. F. G.

Waterhouse, general manager; S. E. Zeli, manager of the Bikimore Station, and R. F. Jackson, agent, represent- iag the Waterhonse Electric Company, met in one of the rooms at the Carlin House and held a long conference with Messrs.

F. B. Sappington, David Lowenstein, Thos. H. Bailer, M.

E. Getzendanner and Dr. J. A. Williamson, of this city.

Mr. F. G. Waterhousa is a brother of Mr. A.

G. Waterhouse, the inventor of the Wateri.oase system and the electrician of the company. He quoted the proposition of his company to those present in astraigbtiorward.basisfczs- like way and told some interesting things concerning electric lights. He stated that he had handled a acmbef of the various systtms of electric ighiing, among them bting the United States, Sjhuyler, Thompson- Houston, Brash and Edison. That lis brother ia perfecting the Water- nouEe system had done so after years of careful study and that its results combine the lessons of long years of experience.

The poiats of superiority which he claimed for cue Waterhous-a company were maay and all of them reasona- Ie. In the matter of the economy ot the system he ttated chat in the item of oil the ezpease to some companies is 50 per month.
