They were mar- ried for 66 wonderful years. Paul was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to everyone. Born February 23, 1933 in York, a son of the late Peter C. and Gertrude J. (Swartz) Stough, he served in the US Army during the Korean War.

He spent 16 months in Korea and was awarded various medals for his service. first job, after returning fromKorea, was at the York Naval Ordinance Plant, and its successor AMF. He then began his career at Caterpillar, fromwhere he retired as a machinist. He was a member of Saint Matthew Lutheran Church, and enjoyed watching the Baltimore Orioles and Penn State football.He was quite a good baseball and horseshoe player and loved to feed corn to the wild deer and turkey at his home in Dover, PA. Wife of the re- cently deceased Frederick Born inYork on June 11, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Robert Feld- mann and Ruth (Thom- as) Feldmann. Gretchen was a graduate of York High and the University of Maryland. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and great friend. Fritz was the love of her life, she was his comfort and guide whatever the issue.

She gifted us her artwork of every imaginable design. She gifted us her music. She gifted us her time. Thank Fletchett, for the loving care delivered to Gretchen and Fritz. Gretchen is survived by her children Robert Bierman and Sue Gordon, her brother, Thomas Feldmann of Gettysburg, and granddaughters, Kendra Bierman and Lexi Bierman.

Jansson Williams, 88, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Homewood at Plum Creek. Born on Sunday, April 30, 1933 in New York City, she was a daughter of the late EdwardGustav Jansson andDaisyMatil- da Forstrom Jansson. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, FranklinA.Williamswho died on September 29, 2020; and a sister, Jean Marie Svalgard. A 1957 graduate of Hunter College inNewYork, Elinor was a dedicated homemaker, caring for her husband and children for many years. She was later employed by Hanover General Hospital for 23 years, before retiring in 1999.

She was a member of Emmanuel Church of Christ and the Penn Township and enjoyed watercolor painting and reading. Survivors include four daughters, Christine Ir- win and her husband, Jeffrey, of Highland Ranch, CO, JeanMichelle Driscoll and her thew, of McMinnville, OR, Wendy Livelsberger and her husband, Phil, of Hanover, and Karen Williams, of one son, Franklin A.Williams, Jr. and his of Missouri; and five grandchildren. She left this world peacefully, on September 25, 2021 at the age of 56.

She was born in York, PA, to Kenneth and Regi- na Landis on August 29, 1965. She is preceded in death by her sisters Loret- ta Stonesifer andWanda Nispel.As well as her mother and father, Kenneth and Regina Landis. She is survived by her brother Rodney Landis, her sister Barbara Baublitz, her loving Kessler, her four children, Andrew Jones, Curtis Jones, Jennifer Beck and James Kessler, as well as her many grandchildren. Rita worked her entire life as a nurse. Doing what she loved, helping those who needed help the most.

Her selfless service to the medical field was a testament to her true character andwill.Her ability tomake a patient smile through humor and love will forever be remembered. Rita also loved spending time with friends, family and hermany dogs.Neighborhood children referred to her as their secondmom. She was lively, enthusiastic, positive, and charming. She always found away tomake you laugh and lift your spirits. A memorial service is scheduled for October 15th at 1pm at theHarvest Chapel inAbbottstown, PA.
