S. after serving with the 45th Infantry Division In Korea. Cpl. Wagner in Korea in August, 1951, and a demolitions specialist in the Regimental Combat Team's First Battalion Headquarters- Pvt. Thomas Crossno, whose wife, Jovoe, and mother, Mrs.

Mable Williams, live at Kennett, is serving in Korea with the 45th Infantry Division. A cook in Company of the 279th Regiment, Pvt. Crossno, entered Army last October. Pvt. John Frost, son of Mr.

and Mrs J. J. of Rt. 2, Steele, has recently arrived in Korea for duty with the 45th Infantry Division. Issiah Brown, whose wife, Amelia, lives in Osceola, is a mem- Iwr of an ammunition company that has been awarded a commendation for outstanding service during recent operations in Korea.

Sgt. Brown has been awarded both the UN Korean Service Ribbons with three campaign stars. Sgt. lie Wesley H. Wright, whose wife, Mildred, lives In Manila.

Route 2, recently joined the 7th Infantry Division in Korea. Sgt. Wright has been in the Army since July, Bobby 0. Damon, airman, USN. son of Mr.

and Mrs. Earl Damon of Blytheville, is now with Fighter Squadron 151 aboard the aircraft carrier DSS Boxer off the coast of North Korea. Capt. Harry R. Harp, son of Mr.

and Mrs. H. Harp, Blytheville, is now assigned to Ernest Harmon APB Newfoundland as navigator with the Air Transport Squadron. Prior to his arrival at Earnest Harmon earlier this summer, he was assigned to Memphis Municipal Airport, Tenn. James R.

Wright, son of 'Mr. and Mrs. Ira R. Wright, Osceola. a student at the University of Texas, Is among more than 750 Midshipmen of the second group of WROTC to receive amphibious warfare training at the U.

S. Naval Base, Little Creek, Va. Pvt. Lonnie Dempsey, whose wife, lives In Blytheville, is now serving with the 68th Antl-Alrcrnft Artillery Group in Alaska. Pvt Dempsey is the son of Mr.

and Mrs. Lonnie D. Dempsey of Conway, Ark. Austin Williamson, son of Burt S. Williamson, Blytheville, was recently promoted to sergeant while serving as a cook at the Army's 279th General Hospital near Osaka, Japan.

Troy W. Langston, fireman, USN, NAVY CADET Naval Aviation Cadet Russell Phillips. son of Mr. and Mrs. B.

R. Phillips, of Blytheville. has received his orders to active duty for flight training at the Naval Air Station, Pensacola, Fla. PARATIIOOPKH Pvt. Onial Pearson, whose sister.

Mrs. Hollis Ashmore. lives in Blytheville, is now taking advanced training with the paratroopers at Ft. Bragg, N. C.

AT FT. BRAGG Pfc. Jimmy D. Nash, son of Mr. and Mrs.

W. A. Nash. Blytheville. Route 4, recently spent a few days at home.

Pfc. Nash, a paratrooper, Is assigned to the Psycological Warfare Center at Ft. Bragg. N. 0.

WITH MEDICS Pvt. James J. Cagle, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Cagle of Blytheville.

is now stationed with the Medical Corps at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Tex. soil of Mr. and Mrs. Troy O. Lances- ton of Osceola, Is now serving aboard the destroyer USS Gurke in Korean waters.

Troy Laugston's wife, Bobble, lives in Kaiser. Howell D. Boyd, Midshipman is spending three weeks in Blytheville wilh his parents. Mr. nnd Mrs.
