and Mrs J. J. of Rt. 2, Steele, has recently arrived in Korea for duty with the 45th Infantry Division. Issiah Brown, whose wife, Amelia, lives in Osceola, is a mem- Iwr of an ammunition company that has been awarded a commendation for outstanding service during recent operations in Korea.

Sgt. Brown has been awarded both the UN Korean Service Ribbons with three campaign stars. Sgt. lie Wesley H. Wright, whose wife, Mildred, lives In Manila.

Route 2, recently joined the 7th Infantry Division in Korea. Sgt. Wright has been in the Army since July, Bobby 0. Damon, airman, USN. son of Mr.

and Mrs. Earl Damon of Blytheville, is now with Fighter Squadron 151 aboard the aircraft carrier DSS Boxer off the coast of North Korea. Capt. Harry R. Harp, son of Mr.

and Mrs. H. Harp, Blytheville, is now assigned to Ernest Harmon APB Newfoundland as navigator with the Air Transport Squadron. Prior to his arrival at Earnest Harmon earlier this summer, he was assigned to Memphis Municipal Airport, Tenn. James R.

Wright, son of 'Mr. and Mrs. Ira R. Wright, Osceola. a student at the University of Texas, Is among more than 750 Midshipmen of the second group of WROTC to receive amphibious warfare training at the U.

S. Naval Base, Little Creek, Va. Pvt. Lonnie Dempsey, whose wife, lives In Blytheville, is now serving with the 68th Antl-Alrcrnft Artillery Group in Alaska. Pvt Dempsey is the son of Mr.
