Announcement is made of the marriage of Miss Maxine Walker, daughter of Mrs. Leland Wright of Jefferson street, this city, and Zane Vantine Morgan, son Mrs.

Lee Lawry of Derrick City. The ceremony was performed Monday evening, December 29, at a St. Louis, hotel, with the Rev. Charles E. Crowe of the Centenary Methodist church, officiating.

Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow N. Estel of Grayville, attended the couple. bride chose a gold wool suit and wore a matching hat and a corsage of gardenias for her wedding outfit.

Mr. and Mrs. Leland Wright of Bradford, Mr. and Mrs. George Walker of Rew and Mr.

and Mrs. Bernard E. Langely of Salem, in addition to members of the bridal party, attended the wedding dinner. Mr. and Mrs.

Morgan are well known here. The bride, a graduate of the Bradford Senior High school, was employed by the H. R. Rogalsky jewelry store here previous to her marriage. Mr.

Morgan also was graduated from Bradford Senior High school, and attended Kiski Preparatory school and Duke and Lehigh universities. At present he is affiliated with Dowell. in Salem, where Mr. and Mrs. Morgan will reside.

Mrs. Honor Stockton Is Feted on Birthday Members of her family and friends honored Mrs. Honor Stockton of West Washington street at a party at her home on New Year's Eve, the occasion being her birthday anniversary. Mrs. Stockton was born in England, and has resided in Pennsylvania for the past 30 years.

Christmas appointments were used in decorating the buffet table. The honor guest received 8 number of gifts. Those present were her two sons and their wives, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Stockton of Bradford.

M. S. McKeirnan of Crosby, became the bride of Lester Joseph Clark, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Clark of Smethport, this morning at 9 o'clock in the rectory of St.

Elizabeth's church in Smethport. Mrs. Janet Mulvihill of Crosby and Robert Peterson of Smethport attended the couple. The bride chose a yellow jersey dress with brown and a corsage white ataccessories. tendant, wore 8 dress of aqua wool with black accessories and a corsage of yellow roses.

Mrs. McKeirnan, mother of the bride, was dressed in a black and white ensemble and wore a corsage of pink roses. Mrs. Clark. mother of the bridegroom, was attired in brown velvet and also wore a corsage of pink roses.

-four guests attended the breakfast at a Smethport, hotel following the ceremony. A tiered wedding cake centerpiece formed table decorations. Mr. and Mrs. Clark left on wedding trip to Baltimore after the ceremony and upon their return will reside in Smethport, R.D.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Clark are well known in this vicinity. Sandra Ann Rich Honored at Party Sandra Ann Rich was honored at a birthday party at her home in Forman street Friday. Sandra was the first baby to be born on New Year's Day in 1937.

Guests at her party included Louise Campbell, Patty Ann Rizzo, Carmina Yoke, Arthur Meyers, Donald Campbell, Peter Douthit and Joey and Sandra Rich. Games were played and refreshments were served. Mt. Jewett I. 0.

O. F. Units Hold Party The annual Christmas party of the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs of Mt. Jewett was held last night, beginning with a tureen dinner at 6 o'clock in the dining room of the I. O.

O. F. hall in Mt. Jewett. Members adjourned to their lodge rooms for a program following the dinner.

Junior Hunt Club Members Stage Show Junior members of the Valley Hunt club staged a horse show this afternoon following a luncheon at the clubhouse in Lewis Run. A show will be presented again this evening and members will hold a dinner at the clubhouse. Engagement of Eva Holden And Harold Jordan Announced Announcement is made of the engagement of Miss Eva Holden, daughter of Mrs. Celia State street, and Harold Jordan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Jordan of 265 West Cordon street. The bride-elect is a graduate of the Bradford Senior High school, class of 1940. The bridegroom-elect attended local schools and is employed by the W. R. Case and Sons company here. Both Miss Holden and Mr.

Jordan are well known in Bradford. Successful Turnout Greets Club's Fete The successful turnout which greeted the initial open house held on New Year's Eve by the Bradford club in Main street, has paved the way for future celebrations which may become annual affairs. Approximately 250 guests visited at the clubhouse between 8 and 11 o'clock during the evening. An orchestra furnished music. Flowers and palms were used in banking the parlors of the club and the guests were received in the foyer by President R.

J. Brennan and directors, Rudolph Reimer, Byron Wolfe, Wayne Fesenmyer, S. W. Gregg, Frank Hyde and A. E.

Booth. In charge of entertainment were A. J. Haggerty, James White, S. W.

Gregg, Walter Hervey and John Harmon. A buffet luncheon was served at a table decorated with flowers and silver candelabra holding white tapers. Wives of members presided at the table. A feature of the occasion was the picture gallery arranged by club members in which views and scenes from pioneer days in the oil metropolis were exhibited. Raids Inspire Riots STOCKHOLM, Jan.

Club to Hold Good Neighbor Tour Harry Garvin, secretary of the McKean County Motor club, will speak on "Mexico" at the regular meeting of the Current Events club Monday afternoon at the clubhouse in West Cordon street. Miss Griffith attended Susquehanna university and Bucknell university, where she was a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority. She is now secretary to the minister of the Pine Street Presbyterian church of Harrisburg.
