miserable that Bart Starr will be fired at least this week think so" Olejniczak remarked Tuesday He was asked to predict the mood of the seven-man executive committee which holds its monthly meeting Thursday amid rumors that the Packers are ready for a new coach and general manager a tandem job for which Starr still has two years on his contract only one of seven members but say probably not" Olejniczak said when asked if a replacement coach might be an agenda topic at meeting The Milwaukee Sentinel quoted another member of the committee as saying: have no suspicion of Starr being fired I think it is going to get better Good Lord it get worse" Fritsch sentenced DALLAS (AP) Houston Oilers kicker Toni Fritsch has been placed on probation for eight years following his guilty plea on a by Fritsch went out of control on a Dallas expressway and overturned before being struck by oncoming traffic Persons who had been with Fritsch earlier the evening of the accident said he had been Lien on Lion line PONTIAC Mich (AP) The Detroit A1 Baker says not optimistic about joining his teammates for the season opener this weekend and now fellow defensive lineman John Woodcock says he might join Baker in sitting out in a dispute over his contract The defensive line already has lost defensive tackle Doug English for the season because the six-year veteran opted to devote himself to his burgeoning oil business rather than play football in 1980 Team owner William Clay Ford and General Manager Russ Thomas met with Baker and his agent Tuesday for hours But no settlement of contact dispute was announced Illini get QB back URBANA (AP) It took a court order but Dave Wilson will make his debut Saturday as starting quarterback for the University of Illinois Wilson who sat solemnly through eight hours of testimony last week smiled broadly and shook hands with his attorney Robert Auler when a judge ruled Tuesday he could play this year feel great" Wilson said I can get ready for the game I was pretty optimistic but it did affect me at practice time" Judge Harry Clem of Circuit Court set aside a Big Ten Conference ruling that Wilson was academically ineligible and could not play until 1981 Clem said potential as a professional player would be damaged if he sat out this season He also said the Big Ten broke its own administrative rules in the Wilson case Third Czech
