These are lined With Vermont white marble, more beautiful than that of Carrara, for the reason that its whiteness is relieved by a tender vein of color which makes it pleasing to the eye. The moulding on the wainscot is verde ajntique alsq from Vermont.

It is of a grayish blue tint and contrasts pleasantly with the wainscoting. The floor throughout, is of mosaic laid in a most firm and lasting manner. Beneath, on the grpund floor, at the angle at the corner of Pranklin and Thirteenth streets, is the ladies' room which is especially furnished with telephones, tables, pens, ink, for the accommodation of fair depositors.

Immediately within the main room -is the office of the cashier and assistant cashier and connected with this is a private room for the purpose of consultati'on with customers. Then comes the working room with its many desks and counter screen arranged in the most modern manner. Safety Desposit Thel safe deposit department is located in the eastern part of the building. The' thousands of boxes are of the latest design, finished in jiggered nickel, are pirocentric and interchangeable. The mechanism is so arranged that the depositor virtually fits his own key, thus doing away with the dangers of a duplicate key.

The doors of-these great'vaults weigh ten tons each and are absolutely indestructible. At the Weeks and it was thatffirm also who designed theS-counter, screens and the artistic fixtures for the giving of Officers' Quarters Opening off the main room is the private office of the president, wdiich is wrainscoted and ceiled in mahogany, while the walls are hung in tapestry. It is of Class A construction, fire-proof and equally immune from trouble from seismic disturbance. Absolute Safety The safes and 'vaults are equally, indestructible or vulnerable by any force which may be exerted against them or ingenuity of the cracksman and, at the same time, are guarded with the electrically protected lining of the American District Telegraph Companv which gives an alarm 1 the moment an attempt is made to assail them.
