Student Trustees for College Boards of Regents Debated By STEPHEN KENT Associated Press Writer OLYMPIA (AP) Students and administrators agreed Wednesday on the need for greater communication among themselves but sharply differed on methods of achieving it They appeared at a Joint hearing of the House and Senate Higher Education Committees on two bills which would add a student to the Boards of Regents or Trustees of all universities colleges and community colleges One of the bills would also include a faculty member on each hoard Five of the six student government representatives who favored the bills were backed by Sen Martin Durkan D-Issa- quah and James Dolliver administrative assistant to Gov Dan Evans The students shared the viewpoint that the boards are unable to comprehend the problems Noel Borshaw Western Washington State College student body president said are not condemning the boards but pointing out how with students they can have better The administrators said the
