The Republican's Libel Case Continued Court is still in session and will probably continue through the remainder of the week. The jury disagreed in the Watkins bigamy case and a Hew tria[ will be necessary as a result. A motion for a continuance has been placed on flle but the case will probably be taken up at this session as Mr. Watkins' sureties have withdrawn and he is now in custody. The Hubbard and Rantzow case will be taken to Emmet county. They will have their trial some time in January. The case of J. J.Wilson vs. A. D. Clarke occupied the court for over two days. Mr. Wilson claimed upwards of t $200 of Mr. Clarke on book account and Mr. Clarke denied the account. The jury brought in a verdict for $5.00 judgment in favor of Mr. Wilson. The BEPUHMCAN'S libel case has been continued until tbe next term of court. "Doctor" Ilathaway's attorney's attorneys filed a long motion for continuance iu which they took occasion to advertise their "large ami extensive" practice. The case was continued against the objections of the REPUBLICAN'S attorneys. Of course the lunger the case is kept on the docket the more advertising the doctor will get out of it. We want every mother to know that croup can be prevented, True croup never appears without warning. Tire first symptom is hoarseness; then the child appears to have token a cold or a cold may have accompanied the hoarseness from the start. After that a peculiar roueh cough is developed, which is followed by the croup. The time to act is when the child first becomes hoarse; a few doses of Chamberlain's Cough Remedy will prevent the attack. Even after a rough cough has appeared the disease may be prevented by using this remedy as directed. It has never been known to fail. 25 cent, 50 cent and $1 bottles for sale by Dr. L. A. Slieetz.
